Australia. 7-1
Logically, Brazil will win by 2-3 goals
bae?
Aussies 9-2 easy bahaha
Aren't people buying?
this is ozbargain not brazbargain
Take out bargain and add zers at the end and it has a whole new meaning
Prob not.. MCG is bloody horrendous to watch a footy match.. Action miles away and 0 atmos
How else can you see Brazil without spending a lot of money?
BTW Thanks for calling it 'footy.' AFL doesn't have copyright over the abbreviation of the word football. ('Soccer' is AmEng.)
Well you're spending a lot of money anyway for a game on a sh_thouse "pitch", "action" you'll need binos to see and a Brazilian team openly saying they don't want to be there. Enjoy!
Well done to the Victory tonight though. I was really disappointed in the Roar's 2nd half. Aloisi had no plan. Even if the Roar offered Maclaren a marquee deal he should still leave after the way they left him on his own. Also congrats to the FFA for making the finals tickets so expensive they're not selling out Melbourne rectangular stadium. Looks great on tv when you see 5000 empty seats!!!!!!!!!
@Consumer Sheep: ~`10,000 seats empty all up. Crowd was 20,202. Capacity is 30,050. It's not the same without the North Terrace :(
You sound like a classy guy!
Actually the British use to call Football, Soccer but got pissed when the yanks started also calling it Soccer and reverted back to Football.
Bullshit!
Manchester United Soccer Club? I don't think so! LSC? Never. Association Football was the formal name, but most people called it football.
Don't let facts get in the way of a good story though.
dont forget FIFA !
All that article shows is that journalists can know nothing about a subject and still write like they know what they are talking about.
I know/have known hundreds Englishmen, some born over 100 years ago, none would EVER use the word 'soccer.'
But don't let that get in the way of a good story!
Clearly not selling well. I suspect a few 'injuries' to pop up close to the date, preventing some of the superstars from flying out.
Possibly, but whoever plays will be half decent and maybe the next generation superstars!
True, true. I'm a bit burned from when I shelled out for Liverpool at the MCG and Suarez played five minutes and my favourite player Coutinho stayed on the bench!
Where do you put the code?
Right at the start in the "password" stage.
Thanks.
Quite annoyed about this - my friends and I coughed up $235 to get tickets through the Telstra pre sale, should've waited….
Soccer and Australia just don't mix.. zero atmosphere and zero interest. Seen world allstars vs Socceroos and Man U vs Socceroos. Not worth the train ticket
Please stick to AFL/NRL and dont worry about soccer in this country.
The atmosphere in 'soccer' games is 100% better than AFL games.
The future generations will decide which is the main sport in Australia and I'm afraid it won't be AFL despite what the parents want.
Not that I care, though!
You clearly havent been to Liverpool and Chelsea games when they were here
They are meaningless friendlies. Why would anyone expect passionate atmosphere? If it happens, that's amazing!
Will we obviously know who is going to win
