yeah, i could not remember the name but they were amazing.
What a fantastic initiative. They have nice food too
Anyone who is local to Pyrmont will know that there are numerous local homeless people who actually sleep out on the footpath/strip this cafe is on. Right next to the light rail.
I have seen them provide the homeless with food multiple times for free.
This is what it is intended for like above have stated.
Yes I was there and sadly a homeless/drunk person went in with his dog. One of the workers didn't know who the dog was since it's a safety thing and moved the dog out and then the guy went beserk at the worker.
I have seen them provide the homeless with food multiple times for free.
I witnessed this when I used to do the Opal run, good times! 😪
No it isn't meant for homeless people, they don't even look at Facebook. It's a business promotion that only runs for 2 days.
Get real, this is NOT what its intended for, its intended to bolster business and provide publicity. They might as well be giving homeless people a meal here and there but the only reason they would run this is for PR.
It's a marketing campaign and no different to Guzman giving a free burrito, Nando's giving a free quarter chicken + chips, a small pizza business in Parra giving a free pizza. And before you say they are 'big brands', no, a lot of them aren't, and also, the franchisees are losing money from this but gaining awareness and goodwill.
It's really silly that people are crying over 2 days of free meals meant to give publicity and shaming those who don't pay or pay little.
They are asking you to pay what you wish and this promotion only lasts 2 days.
Seriously though, better not see you guys ever claiming or talking about a free meal. That would be quite hypocritical, wouldn't it :) Yeah just cos they offered the free meal, it shouldn't be free because its immoral to pay for something they said could be free. LOGIC!
Oh wait, you guys always do. But now you pick and choose who its right or wrong to pay for lol. kk nice morals.
as usual, comments section is cancer.
Shameful really. I think its the name of the cafe that has stirred most of the ignoramus right up…
Shame on you hateful rightists 😂

I think you might be referring to Annalakshmi, by the swan river. Highly recommended - the food and the concept.
