$2 should be normal price for a Small Mac.

    • +2

There is no deal for the Mac Jr., which is a smaller single-patty variation of the original burger for those seeking a more compact burger experience.

    • +11

KFC fill up box offers better value for money! Just imagine 2 big hot and spicy chicken pieces, 2 chicken wings, 2 small fries, 2 mash potatoes and gravy and 2 soft buns for just $9.9

      • My soft buns will be burning hot after that fill up.

      • is the kfc fill up box avaliable?

    • And then a week or so later they have a small Mac and small soft drink for $5.50. small softdrink adding $3.50 apparently.

AND THEN another week later a small Mac and small soft drink for $5.95. inflation is still high according to Macca's.

    • -4

      Ahh Maybe $3.50

    • +4

Had the $2 big mac yesterday- and yes I was shocked to see normal price of $7.50! At RRP I'd rather spend a few more dollaroos to get a $12 Grill'd burger.

  • +54

Seems significantly more expensive than previous deals. McDonald Trump should bring prices down next year

Wait til you find out how much salt the kids put in your fries…

      • Who doesn't like salt?!?

      • +2

        Someone is a bit salty

    • This isn't America though.

      • Don't catch you slippin' up

November McDonald's promo usually makes me stop buying groceries, and eat McDonald's twice a day for a month (two accounts).

I for one am glad it's not as good as previous years.

    • +25

I eat maccas probably once every 6 months and immediately regret it and feel like garbage afterwards.
I can’t even imagine how horrible someone would feel eating it twice a day for an entire month

      • +8

This is so me. Out of the blue in 6 months or so I will have badass urge to eat maccas and then go for the punt followed up by horrible regret. Can't either digest the fact that people have this junk on a daily basis.

        • You get use to what you eat everyday and can then tolerate it.

      • Believe me or not, poor people have 2 times Macca a day! You can say whatever you want, but let me tell you that's true. Fast foods companies offer the best value for money after pandemic. I don't think it's a healthy foods but it offers the best value for money at the moment. 50% off Domino Pizza is great value, 15 kfc chicken wings for $10 were so delicious and a small meal with a extra burger for $6.95 from Macca are awesome deals! Don't you think?

        • +3

          Nah I don't believe you.

        • +13

i can't speak for any of the dominos deals as I do not eat there myself, but these mcddonalds deals absolutely do not offer "value for money". Value in terms of food would imply that you would get enough to fill you up for a meal. The problem with mcdonalds (and other fast food burgers) is that all the ingredients are so processed and sugar-laden that they go right through you. Your body processes it very quickly and you do not stay full for very long. Even if you see a deal and think "wow two burgers in a meal for 7 bucks is heaps!" In reality these burgers are not satiating at all and you'll find yourself hungry again within the next two hours. Compare that to a $6 rump steak from aldi, or some tuna with rice (and whatever sauce toppings you prefer) and those actually make for a decent (and much healthier + cheaper) meal.

All of this to say, don't fall into the trap of considering Mcdonalds "food", it's a junk food treat at best. A bag of potato chips would not serve as an adequate meal, nor does this.

Also just to add the value proposition of maccas is at an all-time low. The food isn't fast anymore, nor is it cheap. These were the two biggest things they had going for them in the past, so what is the point other than feeding an addiction?

    • +4

Still have all the Monopoly rewards. Reminder they expire 28th October so use them all before then.

  • +33

1st day OK, rest are craptacular…..

  • +7

I like to squeeze the apple out of the pie and put it in with the quarter pounder.

    • +35

i'd happily go to the grave without telling people that

      • +9

It's not the worst thing to cry about in life. Many will it seems. If it were me I'd be more triggered about the Maccas prices than my comment.

    • The apple, or the pie?

      • +4

Apple. You fill the pie with the ice cream and it's so good. Especially if it's the hot fudge.

        • You, sir, are a maverick and I'm here for it!

        • Hot fudge cream pies? Dammit I'm in!

    • I can't tell if you put the apple in the burger or the pie shell. either way that doesn't sound good at all

      • A lot of savoury dishes use apple

  • +11

This seems a lot worse than previous years?

  • What are the deals ????????????????????

        +1 for the formatting.

        • +13

          I didn't even proof-read it,
          because I ain't paying $95 !

          Mon 25/11 ► Sml 6 pc McNuggets Meal + Cheeseburger $95.00

          • @whyisave: lol it's only the $2 big mac that's worth it tbh. It would not have made a difference unless it's $0.95.

            • +5

              @Alley Cat:

it's only the $2 big mac that's worth it tbh

I agree. I feel like they wrote out the list of 30 average deals and thought it looked too cheapskate, so they changed the first day to a good deal to trick perceptions of the rest of the list.

  • +5

Are there buy limits on the Big Macs? Asking for a friend with a chest freezer.

    • +16

Don't need a freezer there ok to leave in cupboard for 7 years in a article I read .

    • Just one per account if last year is anything to go by.
Most people on here must have more than one account don't we?

  • +1

No more 20 nuggets and 2 large chips??

  • +2

I only see one deal, is a skip for me.

  • +2

    Rip off

  • +4

    Can't believe it's November again

    • Movember too

  • +2

Wow, the "Sml 6 pc McNuggets Meal + Cheeseburger" must be really special

    • Yeah, $95 for that meal seems very expensive. Is it made by this guy?

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXK_UVX9pN8

      • There's an increased chance of poop in the meal. Guess that's why that branch had to shut down for the photo shoot.

    • Mon 25/11 is a very special day at maccas.

  • +1

    Monday, 25 November 2024 Sml 6 pc McNuggets Meal + Cheeseburger $95.00 🤑

Even if the price is $9.50 still a bad deal.

  • How do you get the car though?

  • +1

Well, Novembers were good while they lasted. But I'll definitely drop in on November 1.

    • +1

I still remember those times, where no app or GPS were necessary,
and I could order multiple deals, for my friends / colleagues too,
as long as you knew the 'code' (thanks to a kind McD staffer)

  • Oh wow, these are really bad.

  • +4

Only if Trump is on the fryer

    • -6

      Preferably in, rather than on.

  • +4

I’m in Japan and ordered a large burger meal + extra cheeseburger + 2 happy meals + 3x of these little chocolate pies (similar to hot apple pie).

    $27 total.

    We get ripped in Australia

  • +4

What the. I know it’s tradition to have these deals, but honestly they are abysmal now. From small meals inflating the value to not being able to customise the burger, change drink to thickshake it’s 100% not worth it. A small soft drink is worth $0 basically, I’ve literally finished it in less than three gulps.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Monday the 25th will be tough

    • -1

Big Macs use to be 50c everyday. Times change.

  • +8

These have to be the worst maccas deals we've ever had

  • Mon 25/11 ► Sml 6 pc McNuggets Meal + Cheeseburger $95.00

Going to be giving this deal a big miss!!

  • Most of that I wouldn't even eat. Maybe the Apple pie. The rest is either gross (big Mac) or tiny enough that these prices don't look like deals at all

    • Maybe the Apple pie

Man years ago, I was told the Apple pie consisted of choko pieces, in apple 'flavouring'.
I don't know how true this is / was.

      • Nowadays I don't even think there's any filling. The inside is more desert than dessert. It's not great. But occasionally I find myself thinking I should try it again. Maybe this November I will. But probably not.

  • +1

    Yikes… These are terrible.

$5.50 for a big Mac and a small soft drink you've got to be kidding me lmao
10pc McNuggets + 2 Med Soft Drinks is just so weird and for $9 now.

  • +3

Thanks for posting but gonna boycott Maccas in November. These aren't value for money at all. We need the fast food chains to have another price war like they did in 2010. $2 McDoubles, $2 Red Rooster Cheeseburgers, $1 Hungry Jacks Cheesburgers, $9 KFC buckets, $7 Subway footlongs, $5 Dominos pizzas.

I'm gonna die anyway, I'd rather die fat, rich, and happy than skinny, poor, and sad, which is how I'll be as a result of this current 'deal'.

    • Kfc is the only one still doing deals

      • True but even those are now hit and miss. Last year they were lit but now it's every second or third deal I get that is worth it. I don't feel like 2x small zinger burger combos for $18 is crazy deal, it's just $9 instead of what like $11. Last good deal I got was 2x crispy burgers for $8 but even then it is borderline. Idk, not sure if it's just me but I feel like the magic is gone and I find myself having to cook more at home for a decently priced meal. Sucks cause I'm lazy af and even though I like cooking, I also like having the option of an equally priced cheap crappy food for dinner. Agree though KFC still trying their best to win market share. Domino's have been my biggest disappointment over the past year or two, pathetic pizzas for stupid prices. It's like they forgot they are selling 80% baked flour and water mixed. $5 a pizza was generous before the mark ups. I haven't spent $7 on one yet and never will, and their share price is reflecting that. They need a reality check and some serious deals to encourage diners to come back to their business.

  • +6

Last year no deals over $10 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/808495

    • +4

Dam so much better last year haha. They’ve really cut down this year….you’d think they’d do better deals to get people in. Doubt I’ll bother at all.

    • +3

Completely unscientific, but this year's prices seem to be about 25% higher.

That's way out of step with any real-world food inflation in the past year, and it's totally fair that people are criticising the deals.

  • +8

Where's the $2 McFlurry and Large Sundae at?

    • +4

      This. And thickshakes.

    • They have a higher profit margin for anything with chicken in it, so there's a lot of nuggets and McChicken's in this promotion. Previous promotions were way better.

    • IKR… not a single one! Way to miss out on business from those with a sweet tooth.

Maccas is just getting worse and worse with their deals and bonus points promos.

Meanwhile, HJs absolutely killed it with their $5 small whopper jr meal a few weeks back.

  • Another month of no maccas

  • +1

I’m still off maccas since they screwed the coffee card with the inflated points system. They can keep their ‘deals’.

    • +2

How good did this used to be! Getting a large coffee for 2.5k was great…

      • Yeah, it was in line with the old days of buy 5 get 1 free. Not sure if coffee shops still do coffee cards these days

    • Yes! Then they changed it to 2.5K for a small or medium, now it's 2.5K for a small… bloody McFlation!

  • +2

At least make it a medium if they want to jack the prices.

  • Not many deals imho… Inflation is killing McDonald's also
