Extra virgin coconut oil is suitable for frying foods, and chips also. But i have never tried it, I usually use it for my hair :)
Can you still use it on your hair if you aren't a virgin?
ahaha, there is no word about using it by nonvirgins in the Warnings :)
I have tried it, perfect!
Not a good deal, you can get better options of coconut oil all over the place locally for $15 or under.

Yeah, the prices aren't anything special. I bought a couple of big jars of Healthy Origins branded coconut oil from iherb ages ago and I can recommend it. I just get oil from the local organic shops these days when they're on special.
One of the things I use it for is for popcorn. Get yourself a microwavable popcorn container like this. Once they're done, stir in some coconut oil, cover for a minute, stir again, sprinkle a little salt, then eat like a champ.
Haha, I do this too. Sprinkle some Himalayan salt and you're good to go!
Is this good for frying chips?
