    Possibly. Had some luck making a purchase instore and later asked about Summit membership and was signed up for free.

    Take your receipt to a store and try asking for membership.

  I never understood the logic behind demanding potential customers pay for the privilege** of buying your merchandise, least of all when it's thoroughly overpriced like Kathmandu is. My dad drags me into this store when we have lunch in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, and on our most recent excursion I debated this point with one of their authentic RealTraveller™ employees. Most of the jackets I looked at could be obtained much cheaper online or even locally Anaconda.
