If the fees aren't waived then it kinda eats into the voucher/profit
unless the phone sells for over $500, it covers the 9.99% eBay FVF
So you're not getting any advantage over the $3 FVF deal they had before and still lose on Paypal fees. No deal
that deal has finished anyway…
Won't this increase supply and therefore possibly decrease cost?
This will keep prices high, encouraging them to just purchase new phones. Why buy a second hand $500+ phone, when you can buy a grey import S7/Iphone 6 for ~$550 now.
Why buy a second hand $500+ phone, when you can buy a grey import S7/Iphone 6 for ~$550
Why do anything? Why breathe? Why eat?
People buy things because they want them, not everyone is after a grey import Galaxy/iPhone.
The deal basically is sell a phone (that sells for a minimum $200 and a maximum of $500) for free on eBay.
Sell $200 phone, pay $20 fees + postage handling fees + international conversion fee if applicable + Paypal fees and receieve $20 voucher
Sell $300 phone, pay $30 fees + postage handling fees + international conversion fee if applicable + Paypal fees and receieve $30 voucher
Sell $500 phone, pay $50 fees + postage handling fees + international conversion fee if applicable + Paypal fees and receieve $50 voucher
Fixed that for you
That will be better as here if you sell it for $250, you are paying more.
Lol thanks.
Better off selling it on Gumtree after eBay and Paypal fees.
… or OzB and keep my wanted ad in mind for your old phone!
Are you though?
I think Gumtree buyers are far too focused on getting a low price which is obviously not good for the seller.
I agree with this. I think overall, you will be better off on eBay. Although it depends on the type of item.
The other area I think eBay is better is when it comes to non-pickup. I often prefer posting rather than pickup as I find it more convenient. Whereas with a pickup transaction you need to find a suitable place and time to meet, hope they don't mug you, hope that they even show up, and then have them try to beat you down in price.Agreed.
My prices on Gumtree are reasonable and inline with the market.
Anyone else get ridiculous offers on Gumtree?
And some even try to justify the low low price.I know people want to save money and many are doing it tuff, but still…
Not necessarily, I sold mine for $480 on eBay and was offered max $400 on gumtree. Bigger market on eBay for auctions to be inflated
Plus some would rather buy from eBay as their is a buyer guarantee when using PayPal.
As the saying goes

What are you referring to? Paying for an item on Gumtree via PayPal?
Woops. I think the user edited their post or something. Was referring to Gumtree and eBay ads at the same time. Never PayPal on Gumtree people!
I think I actually clicked on the wrong comment..
Too much risk for both parties. But Im not sure if Gumtree transactions are excluded anymore.
Used to be a specific clause in the protection policy that specifically excluded gumtree transactions.
Still, would generally only do face to face transactions on gumtree.
Rarely use them anymore

I highly doubt that is the case now.
Still, would generally only do face to face transactions on gumtree.
You can pay with PayPal and still pick-up locally.
You may want to check TOC just to make sure though.
As for paying via PayPal and letting a buyer pickup, that is rather risky for the seller.
It's just a voucher so you're not "saving" anything. You'll just spend it back on eBay anyway.
Not really a deal if only certain people are eligible by invitation only.
That's why it says TARGETED in big fat font in the title. No reason whatsoever to neg the deal.
Its an at best average deal and targeted. Not worth the front page attention its getting.
I don't make the rules, I just post the deals. Speak with the mods if you don't agree.
Though I agree it is an average deal, but it is community which is voting. He has been here for years and friends to vote.

.Are you jealous? :)
Good on you TA. The description is pretty clear. For some of us it is a deal as I did get an email from eBay.
I'm not sure either as people either got the email and they should know, or they didn't get an enail and can't take advantage.

Thanks
Yeah i'm not really sure of the purpose but will hide them as per hamza's comment below.
I have a friend that works for Virgin and am sometimes offered to fly at staff cost on standby which works out to be incredibly cheap. By this logic I should post it here as a targeted deal.
Link please, I too would like to fly at staff discount.
You've been here since 2012, you should know that's completely different.
Not a valid reason to negg man, as it is already marked as Targetted.
Doesnt seem like we need to be paid via PayPal when we sell for this one. At least it doesnt say so.
time to get rid of the bootloop ticking bomb LG G4 me think
Exactly what I'm going to do! ☺️
Had my G4 for a while now. Still going strong! Really too bad about the bootloop issues that this phone is vulnerable to though. Beautiful screen etc.
FeeBay
I have been a seller at ebay for 15 years and how come i never get any target offer by ebay
You sell too much :D
This is a great deal with the $1 final fee offer.
If you're lucky to get both!
Damn, beat me to it.
