I think you are mentioning this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/286334, which says the 50% discount would be added at checkout. I tried it, from the Google Home app, and still paid $12.99 for the season in HD.
Dunno… maybe it doesn't work because the $12.99 is already a reduced price from $19.99.

On mobile with 50% discount it's $16.99 -> $9.99 but on full web site it's $12.99 reduced to $6.49.. weird.

Videos you own through Google Play also show up in your Purchases list on Youtube, which definitely works on Xbox One. Not sure about X360, but I imagine it's similar.
Can anyone confirm if this has subtitles with it?
There is a review from a deaf person complaining about not having subtitles. So I guess no unless they updated it recently.

Scratch that. I just checked on my laptop, and it is $9.99 for me too. I don't think it is a mobile price vs. full site price as mentioned above.
