New 'Ipad' (Idiotic naming again Apple) 9.7 inch is about this price for 128gb, bit thicker but faster processor.
Agreed, not a bargain compare to the new iPad cost $599 for the 128GB with faster processor.
new iPad screen is a downgrade if your primarily using it to view video etc

It's not laminated like the Air 2 screen so theres an air gap between layers that provides a more reflective surface

Doesn't that activate the automatic updates? I'm genuinely asking because I'm afraid that such iOS updates will eat my mobile data allowance.
Windows does that but not iOS.
@wxyz234: Windows has a setting that sets the network as "metered" and there is a setting that allows you to not download updates on metered internet.
