    Nintendo Switch + Zelda = $448.30!

    • I should of held off on the dick smith deal for $495 😔

      • +2

You wouldn't have got this deal anyway. Only 9 Switch consoles and 4 Zelda games were in stock.

        • +2

Yups by the looks of it 4 lucky OzBargainers including myself managed to get one :\

  • this is huge

        • +2

          Double sided underwear?

  • +20

$9.90 postage on games negates a lot of the discount

    • +11

      Agree. Why no C&C available?

      • +25

The stupid thing is you can click and collect from them when buying from other eBay sellers. Did all the managers from masters just get moved to bigw?

      • +2

Online is independent of the individual stores, profit and stock wise. While click and collect does work normally, I'm guessing since this is considered "big" for them they ruled out C&C entirely for the promotion.

        • Have you ever met Tightarse during work?

        • +1

target and myer can do it… even masters could do it back in the days, and they use the same inventory system as all the other woolies stores. It's such a simple thing to increase profit.

        • -1

@Scab: Nope! Does he even work at bigw?

        • +3

@Frozensage: if I had a say a lot of things would be different. Coming from the inside we just do what we are told even when it sounds ludicrous and pointless. There are a lot of people high up that make decisions and imo will run bigw into the same fate as masters. Don't get me wrong here, I just work for them while I'm completing my degree :)

        • +2

@watty: hey mate be careful what you write on here. Your account's been open since 2013, so I'm sure if someone from work wanted to figure out who you are they could. I try to avoid writing on bargains about my work, just to be safe.

        • +10

@yaziyo: Yeah thanks for the tip mate, I seriously doubt anyone at work would even bother considering I do know most of them. Plus I've never said anything I will regret - I truly think change needs to happen if the company was to stay afloat in the future but the frontline is ignored by the higher ups and nothing can be done about that. I was just stating my opinion but the whole point of me saying I'm associated with bigw is so I can contribute to the ozb community by saying how something is on the other side if you know what I mean. I won't preach facts but I feel like something is better than nothing ;)

        • +1

          @watty:

I imagine a lot here appreciate your honesty and insights into how they work.

          Cheers.

Is there a minimum spend to get free delivery?
EDIT: Shipping is only charged once for multiple items

  • Woooo, cheap Lego Porsches for everyone!

  • +3

    No c&c ruins the deal

  • +1

    Hey tightarse,

Can you tell them to have bit more quantity available, the quantity they having atm are really TIGHTARSE!

  • +4

    Boourns to no C&C!

  • +1

I'd be tempted to pick up Zelda if they didn't want $10 to ship the bloody thing.

  • I get jokes…

  • +8

    Good deal, bad postage

  • Can see anything worth it.

  • -1

Free postage for more than 10 items?

    • The title had "free shipping for up to 10 items" which is incorrect.
It has been fixed based on my above comment.

  • -2

    can you earn flybuys?

    • No.

    • +2

      FlyBuys is wesfarmers, not Woolworths.

    • oops… so Woolworths Rewards?

      • No rewards points or payment by wish gift cards etc. Payment/transaction is done through eBay.

  • I bought some of the 52l Starmaid containers. $9.90 OK for posting 3 of these. No stock left in any of the stores near me anyway.

  • I was going to purchase a TV but it's $35 postage.

  • +1
  • I was looking at a Xbox deal..Noticed the bundle on eBay for $399 with Forza and cod, it's a lot more than what is advertised on their catalogue..Not sure of the amount.. But it's less than $399

  • +3

    No C&C, no deal.

  • +2

This sale is moot without C&C. Most items just end up the same or more as in store, with a few exceptions.

    • +2

Yep. $50 is the break-even point when factoring in postage costs. Any amount below that and it's cheaper to just buy it full price from the store (because the 20% discount is less than the $9.90 postage).

  • Damn, no Kindle Paperwhite

  • PS4 + HZD extremely tempting but I'm still waiting for a good PS4 Pro bundle.

  • This would have been much more awesome if they include free pick up.

  • +2

Apparently I don't live in Australia (which is news to me). Due to apparently being remote WA, Big W will not deliver to me. I can't wait for Amazon.

  • No doubt some bargains to be had here.
But a real shame they only list a small percentage of their online range on Ebay.

  • It's mostly all shit. They added shipping, making most of them more expensive than earlier items, not less.

  • Thanks

  • +1

Awww they didn't include the nXl 3DS :/

  • Hey! Thanks for the discount code :)

  • Nothing worth buying on their ebay site. I better wait for their half yearly (up to 40% off storewide sale) in May.

  • Was going to get an Xbox One controller for $89 but once you add shipping at $99, it discounts to $81. Not that big a saving.
