That's a supposition and also this deal gives you the ammunition to get that price, so negative vote not valid. Good comments but not valid for the negative vote. In fact another similar vote, then the deal would not be seen by many here and so they wouldn't be able to negotiate this better price from JB which then negates your strategy.
10% feels like a slap in the face, considering the GST is 10% and you could buy some of the apple products duty free when you have relatives who are returning from overseas.
Nevertheless, it's cheaper than RRP… so is a bargain.
Just called up Myer in NSW and they are having the sale too.
Well, since Myer don't magically get to keep the GST and hauling a 27" iMac back from overseas would be a bit of an effort and also above the allowable duty free limit, I don't really get your point.
I feel it is a slap in the face because 10% of people will vote Greens and I think Myer should give a bigger discount than that percentage.
Just called up Myer in the city and the 10% doesn't stack with the educational discount. Bummer.

Yes, I saw it in this morning's age (melbourne)also, so it would have to be for all vic. D.J. at least. I gotta say though you can haggle for a better price at JB and other Apple authorized resellers.
