    Seems to be a little early to start preordering tickets… surely they will be this cheap later on as well?

      They're not discounted close to the dates very often, and usually only 10-15% through a corporate deal. Besides, your ticket isn't limited to a specific day.

    Buy a ticket 5 months in advance and save 20%. Doesn't sound like a good deal to me.

        Depends what you do with the money in between now and then. If you can double your money in that time, then you lose money buying now. All he needs to do is gain more than 20% and hes in front even though paying gate price on the day.

          @spawnlaeer: You may have missed the fact he only needs to beat 20%, double was just an easy number.

          But youre only limited by your own ability to spot a bargain. I bought 2 brand new GME trickle charger aerial adaptors off a bloke clearing them to suit TX6100s off Gumtree for $25 each, on Fleabay they are $110, and can cost as much as $140. I got $70 for one the next day, I kept one.

          If you think that means I didnt double my money youre missing the fact I did, I just spent some of it on the second one.

    I use to love the Ekka. But since they've demolished so many classic pavilions to make way for units, I just don't see the value any more. It's a shell of what it once was.
