First time poster, so go easy! Was browsing through Coles at the Canberra Centre and came across 1kg of raisins for 10c at the end of one of the aisles. I'm not a fan of raisins, but for 10c a kilo I'm willing to learn.

So all first time posters know about the L plate do they?
So all first time posters know about the L plate do they?
YES, they would…. and/or they should.
When ANYBODY posts a deal, there is a section on that page that says:
Deal Posting Guidelines
Please check the deal posting guidelines before posting
On that page, it tells you how to post a deal, what toi include, what not to include, etc. One section states:
Starting Etiquette
◾ New users shouldn't write I'm new, don't flame me etc.
For first time posters, it's best to avoid telling the community that you are new and asking them to take it easy on you. The “L-plate icon” [L] will be shown to indicate if this is your first post.
Hence, if the new user follows the site guidelines they will know about the L Icon, and they will also know that it's not recommended to write irrelevant statements like "I'm new, be kind".
Great first post. Any idea on expiry date please?
Alas, I forgot to check expiry. Sorry! Can imagine it must be soon though…
Bought a few packets earlier tonight and the expiry on mine is September 2017

I know their sign says that, but it may be wrong …
https://www.woolworths.com.au/Shop/Search/Products?searchTer…So "seeded raisins" means seeds are in or out?
What about shelled peanuts, pitted dates and peeled bananas?
Seedless raisins. Seeded raisins are common in the fancy muscats that appear on cheese platters.
Superb first post, but the date would be nice.
Yep, sorry - totally forgot in my excitement to pop my OzBargain cherry.
No, you popped your OzBargain raisin.
no, not dates rasins.
No, not rasins, raisins. But I would pay 10c for 1kg dates, too.

Note that a drive back will be with a window down all the way
