Why do you feel the need to come to a deal that you're obviously not going to buy and say useless shit like that.

This controller is a lot better than the standard controller in many ways such as build quality.

For this price at the normal $199 you would want it to have a huge build quality.

Cool, everyone who is happy with their controller don't feel the need to post about it in videos like that though of course you're going to get videos like that online, people who have issues will always post more about the product then those who haven't had any issue. I had my Elite controller since launch and was fine till about a month ago when the rubber grips was peeling ever so slightly (due to leaving my controller on top of my xbox vent causing the heat to slowly pull the grip away) but this was after 2 years, so I called up Microsoft support and they sent a brand new one out the next week, but I didn't feel the need to go on the internet and post about it and I'm only one customer.

          Cool.

Gotta love the desire to display the clueless so publicly.

You used to be able to buy a Xbox 360 console for this price. Gee and this for only one gamepad?.

  • You can get the Ocean Shadow and Winter Forces at Target for $85 as an everyday price.

    • Cheers, have removed those 2 from the post.

Very happy with my Elite Controller but for those who play platformers (Mighty No. 9 for e.g.), isometric 3-D (Jotun for e.g.) and potentially AAA (MGS Phantom Pain, Mad Max for e.g.) all three of the Elite Controllers had left analog kick back - i.e. if you move the character left and release the thumbstick, it kicks back turning the character right. I bought my original unit from FreeShippingTech, noticed this issue and got it exchanged at the MS store in Sydney and the second unit had the same problem but to a much greater extent making it almost unusable unless you consciously left your thumb on the left analog stick as it returned to its neutral position. I went back to the store for the second time and they said that the second replacement is just going to have the same kick back issue due to the weight of the steel analog sticks. I took my chances and persisted with an exchange. Sure enough the 2nd exchange does have the same issue but at least it's not as bad as the first replacement. Just a note for anyone who's planning to use the Elite for these types of games. Not sure if this is normal behaviour for the controller, but for a $200 controller, it's a bit disappointing.
