all these chinese phones are confusing the heck out of me.. any Ozbargainers in the know how? im looking to get a phone thats at least 3GB RAM 64GB storage, Dual sim 4g and 3g, band 28 support as well as 850mhz/900mhz/2100mhz on 3g support. what phone should I belooking at preferably under $250AUD shipped?

    • Most Chinese phones do not have Band 28
Every time a Chinese phone comes on OZ bargain we see no band 28 post
so with NO band 28 but all others you are looking at
look at yesterdays deal of the Zuk 2 or a Xiaomi Redmi phone
look at phone and check the following link what carrier the phone will work on

Xiaomi Note 3 international edition aka Kate aka pro prime special edition aka 152mm variant, A$215 aliexpress

  • As GSMArena, when one SIM connects to 4G, the other SIM can only connect to GSM (2G), which is bad.
No 3.5mm jack is bad to me as well

    • it says dual SIM with 3g/4g?

      • "It supports dual nano-SIM cards and can tap to an LTE network on either SIM, but once you do, the second one will be limited to GSM connectivity only" <<< this is extracted from the following linkhttp://m.gsmarena.com/leeco_le_max_2-review-1449p3.php

  • Jeepers so many good deals going on with this and the Lenovo Zuk Z2. Hard to keep the credit card at bay.

    • Including your debit card and PayPal..

  • it is a 820 chipset and most likely other card can do 3G, what is worrying for this phone is the company recently in financial trouble hence it may not receive 7.0 updates let along 8.0 when the hardware in it are more than enough to handle 8.0.

just like PC in the past, mobile phone hardware are now a lot more powerful than the OS base requirements designed to run on.
just like MacOS can run fine on an 2010 Macmini, win 8.1 runs on anything that runs vista with 4GB ram back in 2008, there is no excuse for android OS not being supported after just 18-24 months for all the 3G ram 810 and let along 820 series devices down the track.

for the LeTV company it has trouble getting cash a while back so it is rather worrying whether they can hold on for another year…
otherwise this is a very good device for its price

    • They wrote on their support forums that it is in the works and that was a few weeks ago. Whether they go thru with that is a different story altogether

      • yes, they claims to be working on it on their blog a while back as well, in theory this is the 820 chipset and it is 70% the power of iPhone 7s A10, I don't it would be dropped like the crap that was the 800 / 801 due their issues,

        • Power got nothing to do with it. You mean the 810 that had issues, ,800 and 801 never did. Even with second revision of 810 it still stuffed up purely cos Qualcomm rushed the architecture of the cores to market.

All in all, to those that don't care so much about updates this is still a pretty good device

          @adrianhughes1998:
Yes, 810 issues, forgot which is which lol
Any device running 3-4g ram with 810 and beyond should have no issues running android 8 and beyond,
The security patch is an issue to those concerned on security.

        • @jackau: bang on mate. Xiaomi i can reasonably trust for security updates and they do fairly good job with MIUI too even for hell old devices.

These would be for powerheads these phones, or those looking for a Hella smooth buttery experience.

  • Any user feedback on this one?

    • Oh I was thinking WT hell… So I ordered one. I will tell you when I get this.

    • Ok, So I've received the phone, after about 3 weeks. Packaged well and it is a nice phone. Alittle big for my liking. I've noticed this one does not have any update section. I am now wondering if this is the hijacked version android eui or not. I am confused. How do you update to the latest version?
