  • Does a phone need that kind of ram and memory?

    • +1

Technically it doesnt, geek-lly it does

      • I mean most surface pros have worse specs than that, and they run fine.

        • +1

Surface pros don't have to run android

        • @Chipwich: No, you're right, they have to run Windows instead.

  • Such a nice looking phone.

  • This is much cheaper:

Fair enough, it's the lower memory version but for $150 difference that ain't much. Either way, not having a warranty (and that is apparently the case when importing these from China) it's a crazy buy.

    • Do you realise it's a lower spec than this deal, therefore it's normal for it to be cheaper. $150 ish cehap for 128GB less storage and 2GB less ram.

    • In both cases its an inhouse warranty. Non of the sellers are offering manufacturing warranty. It all depends on personal preference when it comes to memory and storage

    • Also, the lower spec phone doesn't use the ceramic speaker tech. AFAIK.

  • This phone any good ?

  • DWI have them for $875 AUD
But if you used cash rewards banggood would end up at about $838 with another 9.6% off

    • Mobile phone falls in Category 2 which is 4.80%, further $44 off

  • bandwagon 28 ?

    • For a circus?

      • no love for the clowns?

I called the Xiaomi service centre here in Australia and found out that I didn't. Seriously guys? Almost $1000 for a lottery. $300 maximum is my limit for a no warranty Chinese phone.

      So you lied to yourself?

Yes. About after sales service. I'm deluded like that.

is AU $924.69 (US $689.99) already after 23% discount?

in Xiaomi official site in Chinese:
    http://item.mi.com/buyphone/mix

    Xiaomi Mi Mix 256GB, 6GB RAM officially selling RMB3999 = AUD753 (USD579.57)

    Xiaomi Mi Mix 128GB, 4GB RAM officially selling RMB3499 = AUD659 (USD507)

    • the price you mentioned is the Retail Price in China. Export should get 30%-40% tax back. They are still making huge profits.

  • +1

Finally price dropped, but with its design, so prone to shatter the screen when dropped on the corners. I'll just save and spend my dough on s8

    • +1

      fiery death then?

      • Note 7 didn't kill me, S8 gotta try harder if it wanna set me on fire
