  Looking at this monitor right now.

  It's quite nice, but it's VERY wide. Sometimes I feel like I don't need a second screen when using it.

  The only problem I had with it was that when "energy saver mode" was on it would try to tint it's brightness according to what was on the screen. Made watching movies unbearable until I found out what the issue was. Also a message saying "this monitor will turn off in 5 minutes unless you press a button" would appear randomly, even during games which was a pain. But I haven't had that since I disabled energy saving mode.

  Overall I can't fault it. Very happy to pay $300 for it. Don't know about $450. GR:W isn't a up my alley either.
