  • These are a great set of headphones, I've had a pair before and they were awesome. :)

  • I've been tossing up between these and the Head-Direct RE0's for a while http://www.head-fi.org/products/head-direct-re0-in-ear-headp… - tough decision!

    • RE0's are definitely the better sounding set, theres a review by cleodioias or something on the hifi forums giving these a good score for its price.

The RE0s is also hella strong construction, i had mine get run over by a car on them nasty asphalt roads, and it still works.

the only issue is that you might need an amp, the re0s have a higher resistence 64ohms i think which is way too much for a IEM. so go with vmoda if you have equitpment that cant power it.

can get these for 49.95+ shipping at http://www.themp3outletstore.com.au/catalog/product_info.php…

shipping worked out at $6.82 to sydney

  • I have these and they're awesome. They also have a button and mic which are compatible with the iPhones and iPods touches.

  • Anyone know the difference between Vibe & Vibe2 , thanks sydboy007 for the link bloody awesome find compared

  • how do these compare to the Ultimate Ears 220?

  • This is going to sound like a stupid question but does anyone know if the left earphone cable is the same length of the right? Like with the good Sony ones, the right cable is longer so it can go behind your head…

Tried doing a google image search but cant find much.

On the channeladvisor website it says it has even length earphone cables. I assume that refers to the length and right cable lengths.

    • yep like infinity89 says…looks to be a Y-cord as opposed to the behind-your-head J-cord.

      http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/v-moda-vibe-gunmetal/4864…

refer to the first user review

btw…it seems that most people seem to prefer Y-cord? out of interest, why is that?
i always thought J-cord was more convenient cos you can drop the right earbud on your shoulder if you need to listen to something else (shops, trains, announcements, etc).

      • Cheers guys.
J cord (that's a lot simpler way of explaining it than mine!) is great for me, I regularly have 1 ear in so I can listen to other things at the same time.

    • soundmagic are better earphones for the price

  • Thanks. Just bought some for $40.

  • great deal, I bought the pink one a while back from ebay, i found these earphones are not suitable for gym use, oneside of earphone kept coming off.

  • I'm not sold; for this price you can get yourself a pair of Sennheiser CX-300's, which are also in-ear, passive noise cancelling and don't look so damn gaudy & tacky.
