    How much are each of the dishes at the restaurants?
    The average dish at Taste of Sydney is $6-$12. Restaurant’s ‘Icon Dishes’ may be priced between $15-$25 and have limited quantities.

    What is Taste Credit?

    Taste Credit is loaded on to pre-paid cards and is the official payment method of Taste of Sydney. Restaurants, bars and exhibitors that sell food or drink to be consumed at the event can only accept Taste pre-paid cards, not cash.

    If you wish to purchase dishes, beverages and gourmet products at Taste of Sydney, you should use the Taste pre-paid card for transactions. If credit is not included in your ticket, $50 0r $30 pre-loaded ‘Credit’ cards can be purchased online here or onsite at the festival via Banks and roaming sellers.

    You can enjoy Taste to the very last bite with full refunds available for any unspent amounts – simply visit the designated refund point onsite at the festival. A maximum of 3 pre-paid cards can be refunded per person and refunds cannot be redeemed after the event. Banks will close 15 minutes prior to the end of the session.

    Taste of Sydney will not be held responsible for lost or stolen pre-paid cards.

    would only consider going if it was completely free, and even then would be second guessing as to whether I wanted to waste money on expensive, small portioned food
