Unfortunately I could still find most items I was after much cheaper elsewhere. e.g. Coleman HWOD H2Oasis Elite Gas Water Heater is $80 cheaper at Snowys

Hope people find some bargains though!

      Elite Gas Water Heater

I'm not sure you really have the right spirit for camping.

The WEBER Q200 PREMIUM GRIDDLE seems like a decent price for $49.98?

1000 Lumens or 1000 Chinese lumens?

    • Runs off 4x D-cell, and no other specs, so you can assume the latter.

      • I'll be front country camping at Tidal River, Wilsons Prom in a couple of weeks. Can you recommend a lantern? I was looking at these two:

I'd like something that runs on batteries, maybe a dimmer switch.

The Arlec looks a bit better. 3 brightness levels.
Efficiency is what you look for.

You don't need a terribly bright lamp for the table. An overhead one is better if you have somewhere to mount it.

Don't forget to take head-mounted lamps as well, for cooking & reading.

My local bunnings still has plenty of these camping twin packs for $5:

Can't comment on these but we moved away from a bright central light and now use a few AA lanterns around the camp. They put out enough light for most stuff and everyone has a head torch if they need something brighter. Lanterns are dimmable and last many nights if you keep the output low…it's surprising how little light you need if you give your eyes a chance to adjust.

Everything runs on Eneloops or Turnigy and a dozen each AA and AAA spares don't take up much space…most of the time spares aren't needed.

  • Picked up some dive fins for $14 down from $35.
