You’ll be in stitches watching some of Australia’s best stand-up comedians doing their thing, with two-for-one tickets to see Powerbomb Comedy at Staves Brewery in Glebe.
Sam Campbell has a style that’s loose, original and hilarious. After reaching the national final for RAW Comedy in 2011, Sam has gone on to become a regular on Triple J, as well as featuring on ABC’s The Checkout, starring in the web-series Dayne’s World and making videos as part of the cult YouTube collective, skills in time. In 2015 Sam won Best Newcomer at the Sydney Comedy Festival for his show, Cambo’s On Top, and in 2016 was joint winner of the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Director’s Choice Award.
Our MC for the evening is David Smiedt Comedy. Accomplished author and journalist, David’s a regular fixture on the Australian comedy circuit who’s been delighting audiences with his brand of warm and inclusive stand-up comedy. Described by Adam Hills as, “Living breathing joke machine,” David’s the perfect comic to MC this evening.
