        They're a fitted jacket, it wouldn't make sense/look good to wear a jacket underneath.

      Its definitely warm enough for Melbourne!

      On a side note these make an excellent under layer when you go skiing with a ski jacket on top, keeps you warm.

      Its not warm enough when the weather goes below 0 degrees, also the pockets lack much insulation from the wind but its perfectly fine in any Aussie cities.

        You want layers (and an outer jacket) that can breath for snow sports, this would be a poor choice for the application you've suggested.
