  • I've tried buying a few batteries from Banggood reently and they haven't arrived so I've had to a request a refund. I think it's due to the recent restriction on Lithium batteries into Australia

I ordered 5 of these a couple of weeks ago and current status on AustPost website is "Arrived at facility in destination country". Sadly I paid US$18.41, but even that is not enough to stop me voting +ve.

I previously ordered one when they were first announced and so far no issues. A potential improvement would be to supply a cord that allows you to connect at both ends and hang horizontally from the roof of a tent or similar. The light has holes correctly located at each end so that it light will shine down so you only need to add a suitable cord. Adding a magnet like the smaller model would be nice to have.

      • Yes being able to hang this horizontally would make it even better than it is.

    • I ordered from them yanks ago and the (lithium) batteries never arrived.

  • input 5V/1A (Max)
    output 5V/1.5A (Max)

Seems rather inefficient for a powerbank.

Seems rather inefficient for a powerbank.

How can your measure it's efficiency by looking at peak figures?

Or do you mean that putting out 1.5A from a single 18650 battery is not enough? Would you prefer 2.4A and a really short lifespan?

All the money has gone into making it a camping light. The power bank is just a bonus.

  • 100 Lumens isn't very bright.
I know people will say lumen ratings are a lie but its all we've got to judge on them really.
I bought one of these from Bunnings:
    https://www.anacondastores.com/camping-hiking/camp-lighting/…
and returned it due to how lackluster it was at its sole purpose… and its supposed to be 375 lumens…

I find the light ample for lighting up a room. Brighter lights mean that it will provide light for a shorter period of time.

    • 100 is heaps in a tent after the Sun has gone down though. My lights rarely get used above 10 in the tent when camping, and mostly at 1 or below. If you need more, maybe try the Fenix CL30R, or of you don't need the powerbank feature then the CL25R is arguably the better light since it has a sub-lumen mode

      • Fair point, I'm looking for a lamp to use outside of the tent for cooking etc. I imagine inside a tent this would be perfect.

Cannot recommend this light enough. I got one for hiking but it's so good I use it now even for car camping. It lasts numerous full nights on a single charge, would do many nights at a few hours each. Plenty of light for a big tent or to give a picnic table gentle but usable light. I also use it as a nav light for night kayaking. Useless as a spotty/searchlight but perfect for it's intended use.

  • Banggood delivery is a joke, ordered a phone 4 weeks ago, still not receive yet.

  • Hi rep,

I ordered this on the 19th of Dec last year.

I got an email on the 22nd and 23rd of Dec saying it's out of stock. I replied saying I'd wait.

On the 11th of Jan I got another email saying it's been delayed and stock will only come in around the 22nd of Jan. I said ok I'll wait.

I still haven't received it yet. Has it been shipped?
    Order number is 22297008.

    Thanks.

  • I placed 2 orders on December 29th and still havent received anything yet. I contacted Banggood and they offered a refund or to resend.

    Q. How long should I wait before choosing one of these options ?
