  • Obviously these are not high end headphones, but how do they compare, sound wise to others in this category?

    • Interested to know as well

    • +1

Don't seem to be any reviews for it. If you're looking for value for money, I'd go with the Senheiser HD 201's.

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sennheiser-HD-201-Around-Ear-…

There was a deal on here a few weeks back. This is still a good price for what you're getting.

      • Any idea how the Sennheisers compare to the Sony XB450AP EXTRA BASS Headphones in their current deal? They can be had for $29 shipped with the $25 off deal combined…

        • Never tried them, but it depends on what you're looking for. The Senheisers are over-ear, while the Sony ones are on-ear. Over-ear blocks out lots of background noise, so I'd be getting those if you want to immerse yourself in the sound.

I have a pair of similar Sony on-ear headphones (can't remember the model number, but I think they're a couple of models down), and they sound great. Bass isn't too booming, which is alright by me, but it's got a good balance between the bass and treble. I listen to lots of rock, and it's perfect for that.

I'd go with the Sony for the good sound and the great looks. Great for commuting. I'd go with the Senheisers if I want to sit at home and listen to music, gaming, watch TV, play guitar/keyboard/electronic drums, etc.

Also, the link you put up there is for some sports earphones, not the headphones.

        • @flaminglemon: Thanks for the info, mate. Much appreciated. Sorry, must have copied the wrong URL. This is it http://store.sony.com.au/MDRXB450APR.html
