I tried this yogurt for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised it contains lactobacillus casei bacteria. It's the magic ingredient in Yakult and fellow pro-biotic drinks. Only difference is, 1kg of this yogurt costs $2.87 while 5x 65ml of Yakult is $3.84. So eating a spoonful of Jalna every day rather than buying the little drinks containers works out to be much cheaper.

  • It is available for melbourne as well. I bought a lot last time with this half price and consume it before the expiry date.

    • Can confirm available in various flavours for $2.86 in SA as well.

Great price on one of the best Yoghurts out there

  • This yoghurt is yummy :D
One of my all time favourite snacks is a nice crunchy & tangy green apple cut up with one dollop each of Plain Jalna and Vanilla Jalna!

  • I'll have to try after reading everyone's positive comments…I'm just wondering if it taste's bland compared to Yoplait etc? What do you guys think?

  • Yoplait isnt yogurt…
if it has gelatine or starch it is not a yogurt!

    • Yoghourt. It's Yoghourt.

Great deal. Too bad Coles has better flavours - my local Woolies only has Natural (Fat Free), Vanilla (Full Fat and Reduced Fat) in 1kg. They have strawberry but only in smaller sizes (200g and 500g). My favourite (Coles) is the red tub (vitamins/fruits).

  • yum!
i love yogurt so much. the fat free natural one (as boring as it sounds) is awesome, you guys should try mixing in some pineapple pieces (tinned or fresh). so good.

  • This stuff tastes good. Woolworths charges us more in Tasmania (why? Coles doesn't) but at $3.42, it's still half-price.

  • Got this deal, but like the Bertolli deal (4 for $5), almost all gone.

    • Just get a raincheck in that case.
