  Oz consumers certainly get the raw end of the prawn on many imported products. Yes I understand the issues - small market, smaller competition range, freight, currency etc - but exclusive franchises are often to blame for the huge markups, esp when "warranty" isn't really an issue (unlike imported tyres for example).

  The meguiars tire gel is it oily? Do it spray everywhere?

  I used to use black jack about 15 years, the best gloss but sprays all over the inside of the guard and seal panel.

    Doesn't splatter. Get a decent applicator pad and it works very well.

    I've tried many tyre shines that splatter on to paint work - never again. After a bit of trial and error - very happy with this product.

      So far I'm happy with the export cans I got for $2 each nice shine and doesn't splatter much.

      I go overboard with the stuff, thanks for input might give it a crack

  Terrible experience with spares box a few weeks back. Ordered, was told oil was in stock, a week later, no shipping info, I have to follow up on a Friday, apologised for the delay, said it would ship Monday. Come Tuesday, no shipping info, got a reply saying it was shipped on Wednesday, no apology, nothing.

  3 weeks from order to delivery. Won't be using again.

  I think the Meguiars deal is over, only till Feb 10 as I found out this morning (unfortunately). Oh well, maybe next year. I was going to order something yesterday but it popped up saying for a few bucks more I'd get free shipping so I thought great, I'll have a bit of a look around later on the weekend.

  Weird thing is, still showing 30% off the ads flashing on OzB!

    It's now March 11, a month since my last post. Sparesbox still showing up on my Google Ads as having the 30% discount. Are these guys for real?
