thats a good point. I usually stop to get my bearings. This gives your direction by street names so you can just listen to it via the drum roll bluetooth headset.

didnt say, but looks like it is weather resistant type.
the main thing that will make this deal good is the bluetooth headset, but there is no picture of what it looks like so cant really tell if it is just a cheap ear plug type

don't you need a data plan to do it with the nokias? my old n95 needed it.
It isnt necessary. The maps can operate completely offline (Think of if you travel, you wont want to pay roaming charges)
Having a data plan allows you to use assisted gps which speeds up gps acquisition when you open the map application and also allows you to search for places online however there are heaps of POI's which come with the maps when you download them from nokia.
What makes a motorcycle GPS fit for purpose is that it is waterproof and can be operated with a gloved hand.
They also benefit from a sunshield to help readability.I have their last version - no bluetooth and its a good little unit for the money…once you put decent software on it…
