not bad bunch of stuff but nothing jumps out at me that i would buy personally… CoTD needs to give us ozbargainers some more exclusive deals i reckon… its been a while

  • whole lots of useless products with low quality, i am getting hate COTD after 2 time purchased.

  • agree…better than yesterday, but still nothing to say "gotta have that!"

  • hey guys what do you think about the Navig8er G35 for $59.95+shipping?
is it good gps? its for a gift for father's day.
appreciate all the reply and help

    Cheers

    • Having bought the Navig8er G35 prior to this, here are my cons:

      • Battery drains really fast, need to have it plugged into your car cigarette lighter most of the time.
      • Points of interest are outdated.
      • Route calculation and recalculation is fairly slow.
      • Some road speed data is outdated.
      • Gets lost sometimes, bouncing between two locations. Takes a few minutes to recover and find my position again.
      • A bit slow on the final turn notification sometimes, if you wait for the 'Turn onto x road now' you may miss it. Need to anticipate a bit occasionally.

If your Dad can put up with these, it's a great functional unit, seems to have good enough quality maps at least. Saves me from being lost! For the price I'm happy with it, but may be rather frustrating to some with the aforementioned issues.
