Perhaps you forgot to mention this? I would be part of the QLD region so yeah can not get discount?
Thanks for the negative 10 votes…since you all know what you're talking about :P
Wasn't aware of this. I have added to the post +1. By the looks of it's not just regional areas as per crazyLad's comment below.
Should mention that this deal only works for people in NSW.
Ah yes. At least someone here figured it out.
As for those 10 people who voted me negative…up yours mate!!
I just successfully ordered from WA. Hopefully because it's a small item they'll ship.
Can also get the 2TB for $95.20 (or +$6 shipping). Cheapest price on staticice today is $111.99.
Officeworks is selling the 2TB for almoat same price if u prefer buying from a physical store
Officeworks is selling 2TB version for $119 which is a fair price.
If only Officeworks had the 1TB version at $60 or less.
Thanks. But shows as $69 for me, plus $9 postage
Nice find, ordered one, thanks OP!
I'm getting: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."
FYI for PS4 users, this portable HDD can be ripped apart and use the 2.5" drive for upgrade. The drive inside is the Samsung Spinpoint M9T which is the same drive as the popular Seagate Backup Plus portable HDD that is used for PS4 upgrades.
Not that it matters much, but the 1TB Expansion Portables I bought several months ago from The Good Guys and Officeworks all have the ST1000LM035 inside.
Anyone have problems with the drive? I picked it up today, plugged it in and I can't get my computer to detect it. Worst still, it is making this beeping noise.
Try plugging it in a few different ports. Try a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0(if you have one?)
Tried them on USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, unplugged all my other devices, used a few different cables. Only hope is to try on a different computer when I get to work. That is to rule out the "not enough power" case. Sad.
Yeh was thinking the same. Not enough power but I have a feeling it's a lemon. Try it at work and see how you go. If still no go you might have to return it.
Bing Lee customer service is surprisingly awesome! Sent them an email at night, replied next morning and call me up too. Replacement unit work like a charm the moment I plugged it in. Happy customer.
