UPDATE: Nu-Tec 32" Full HD TV in Neutral Bay Coles Supermarket, now marked $398

70

Update: Went back today to check price & stock. More stock on shelf but price now marked as $398.
Asked guys working there what the price was yesterday but they just looked at me blankly.

It is a Nu-Tec.

Previous post: "I saw this 32" Full HD TV in the Neutral Bay Coles Supermarket this Sunday afternoon for what I remembered as $348. Other people have commented that they've also seen them elsewhere.
I wanted to stop and take a picture but was being hassled to move on by a small person.
I've just looked on the Coles Supermarket website

http://www.coles.com.au/

but can't see any mention of any TVs (apparently Shop online pages!).
I vaguely remember it was a yum cha no-name (apparently Nu-Tec according to knowledable comments), but nothing else except there was only one on the shelf next to the electrical appliances.
Seems like a good price for a 32" Full HD."

  • Confirmed in Airport West, Victoria, as well.

    • Confirmed at what price?

      • I'm pretty sure it was $348 but I could be wrong

  • also in Cowes, VIC

  • "was being hassled to move on by a small person"

    Whaaaa?

    • Actually, that's exactly what they were saying!

      • wat were they saying? it takes one second to use mobile take a quick snap. no one will even notice it.

        • "Mummy/Daddy, I wanna poo" is usually one phrase that can stop everything…….

    • Well spotted.

Yes it probably was that one - Nu-Tec - except at possibly up to $100 less!

It may have even been as low as $328. I couldn't remember exactly so I put $348.

Someone will let us know the truth soon enough.

  • This TV is in the Coles website, listed as Nu-Tec, but it's only found in the 'Shop Online' section and is listed at $466.52… maybe each individual store has it's own deal?

    • I couldn't find it on the website but I didn't look there as I couldn't be bothered getting a log-in.

It was $348 or $328 in store, but I'll check the price again tomorrow (and maybe even get one if they are $328!?!).

  • any idea how long this deal will last?

  • $399 at my store. These TVs are horrible on energy consumption - only 1 star rating.

  • Wouldn't bother with this unless its like for the shed/garage. Save your $$ and get something better if you are going to be watchin it frequently.

  • +2

Soon they'll be giving away flat panels with Happy Meals. You mark my words.
