Big W currently have the base unit for $178 in store, or for $198 in the (shudder) Hannah Montana bundle. Seems like a good price for the console on it's own, and while it's not as good as the DSE deal last month, it seems to be the best at the moment from a B&M store.

Was found in the latest catalogue so will be on sale till next Wednesday.

  Just a note - I picked up the DSE Hannah Montana bundle, and the memory card isn't included so you'll have to pick one up separately. I'm not sure about the standalone. Oh, and JB will trade-in the game for $16.

    Did not know the bundle was meant to come with a memory card. Anyway, I just got a MS Pro Duo from MSY when I got mine. $72 now for a Sony one, and as far as I know, you can treat it as a PSP Go (if downloading games is your thing).

  you can always replace the entire casing through Dealextreme. Shouldn't cost more than 20 bucks

      Does changing the casing void the warranty? id imagine it would?

        Not to sure. Do you have to remove any stickers to take of the shell?

          @tomsco: Yes, probably. The warranty sticker is under where the battery sits, above a crucial screw.

  THANK YOU!!! been waiting for a decent deal

  as an FYI they are also clearing there LBP bundles (includes a teal colored psp, LBP, case and charger) for $198

  i got DSE to price match this so it came down to $190 add on the 1 year extra warranty for $35 bucks (since the console is below 200$ it falls into the cheaper warranty class) so if a button breaks or get a dead pixel DSE replace with a new unit :)
