Damn, just missed this one when I got mine. There are heaps at Auburn, the one on the southern side of Parramatta Rd, not the northern side one with Domayne. The sales assistant was very helpful, just showed him the receipt print out and he went straight to the back to grab me one. Go FAST!!! Saw people buying them 3-4 at a time, prob for resale.

Frustration!!!, I went to Cannington Harvey Norman, and they wouldn't do this deal, stock manager says its not local… its not 150km between Cannington and Bunbury stores.
Still I think the guy was also prejudice against me because I'm only 21, that aside screw them I'm not returning to that store again, I'm down Bunbury on the weekend anyway.

Just got this bundle at HN Liverpool (Orange Grove). Brought in a print-out of the receipt and they were more than happy to price match. The extended warranty was included.

I've just read HN's extended warranty T&Cs. It say it's only available for purchases OVER $200.

arcade = no hard drive
pro = 20-60gb hard drive
elite = 120 or 250gb hard drive
hard drive good, means games cache and load quicker and stuff … that's about it … oh, and the elite is black
arcade also has 512mb internal flash memory and a matching grey disc tray. pro and elite have chrome disc tray :)

Hey does anyone know if jbhifi or HN receipts can identify which console you originally purchased at the store (if something were to happen and I'd need to get it repaired/replaced)?
I just bought the same bundle for $248 last month at jbhifi. What I want to do is buy this HN elite with the extended warranty and then just sell it along with my jbhifi receipt so that I keep my current elite but with the HN receipt and extended warranty. If something were to happen though and I have to return it to HN, I wouldn't want the guy finding out somehow that it's not the elite I bought from HN. Is this possible? Do they scan the 360 barcode to make sure it matches the receipt barcode or something? Otherwise I'd just have to sell my current 360.

Hey guys, just called Harvey Norman Martin Pl and they told me that ran out of stock for the Elite bundle. They're trying to sell the Arcade at $188 lol. If people are able to buy Elites for $198, there's no way I'd be happy to buy the Arcade for $10 less.
I had a look at HN Maribyrnong but a strict man said that the deal has been discontinued. I asked the deal has just been come yesterday and showed off the print-out receipt so he said the deal is now $227. I wondered whether it had one more controller or not but unfortunately it was not.

The batman packs are elites. I think Pure is the other game.
When you enter the store from Martin Place turn right, pass the laptops, pass the monitors and all-in-one pc's and they are in the corner. The batman packs were in a pile there yesterday marked $398 or something stupid like that.
The Forza/ODST pack was on display in a glass cabinet opposite the cash register just near the stairs to the food court. They have to go out the back to get you one but it sounds like they are sold out now.
I bet the display model is still there, and its never been powered on so shouldnt have had any wear….

tried HV at bondi junction. got there and an indian salesman (sorry only way i can identify as i didnt get his name) was helpful and said he could do it but was busy and asked to wait or get someone else.
asked someone else, a lad in an oversized shirt. showed the receipt, he walked to his boss and came back with a load of bull about the rebate ending/they would make a loss/liverpool store did a very special offer in a very short time frame which they couldnt match. somehow they knew this without calling liverpool HV (where my receipt was from). proceeded to tell me 'youre not walking out of here with this' and 'dont argue' when i told him his shop had done the deal earlier, as well as HV auburn/alexandria. I was speaking in a very mild manner. offered me 298 awesome!!!
summary: they had stock, you can have a go. try get the indian gentleman to process it from start to finish. steer clear of the lads.

Hi KKKen, I went to QV around 11 plus today about this deal, the salesman keep telling me all Harvey Norman is not the same like a parrot keep repeating himself. And when I ask him about price match he just says all harvey norman is different and they are out of stock. If the manager tells u that he can match the 198 bundle, obviously the salesman is screwing around with me.

Yes first the guy checked in the system with the key words 'xbox console', it came no such bundle. then he took the part no from the receipt i showed, then it came out they have such bundle in stock. So it's very wierd that they hide the bundle with unuasual key words…then he went to ask the manager and came back to me with thosw words i posted before.
