  • damn! i paid double the price

    • +1

      where did you pay double?

      • same place + including shipping it was double

  • Do these actually work?

    • Seems like it does to me. When i put a clean cloth on it, and clean my floors.. the cloth is black from all the dirt it picks up.

      So i guess so?

  • Does anyone know how effective/practical is this for cleaning carpet?

  • +2

My poor dear mother bought this exact same thing, rebranded, from Danoz for like $160.

    Knowing that makes me sad.

    • +2

haha, I know the feeling Broden. Good to hear you look out for your Mum.

  • looks like a good deal. Are you a rep danilochan?

    • Yes, I am the rep of Apus and ShoppingSquare.

  • Yeh… It looks exactly the same as the H20 Steam Mop on Danoz Direct, just without the sticker.

    • … and that's selling for 200 bucks!

    Some reviews: http://www.productreview.com.au/showitem.php?item_id=56999

it seems like a dodgy product to me.

    • +2

Agreed…seems dodgy to me. I know this isn't the Danoz product but it's probably the same product.

Going out on a limb and voting this negative.

    • I actually bought one from these guys a couple of months ago.
      Wife loves it.
Uses it to clean the bathroom and floors.
The white cloth ends up black from all the dirt it picks up. So that can only be a good thing i guess.

The main selling point for me was that the steam kills bugs in carpet.

      • Thanks for the post mate!

Based on this, I'll retract my negative. :)

How wet does it leave the floors?

        • Well, i did it over quite a thick plush rug and u can feel it warm and damp for roughly 5 mins after.

When we did it over our laminate floors, its prob the same amount of water as if you pushed one of those spongey mops over your floor. Doesn't leave puddles or anything like that. I dont' think its the best idea for laminate floors though, coz if any water gets between them, it can cause expansion issues.

It does tiled floors really well.

At 40 bucks i think its a awesome deal. However if you paid 200 bucks for the Danoz branded then that one is way overpriced :)

  • READ THIS BEFORE

"All images are used for illustration purposes only. Actual item may slightly varies

Picture and specifications are for illustration purposes only. Actual product may differ from that pictured."

They have mentioned this twice so even if it might look like the one danoz direct sells, it might not be what you get. And have you read the review on product review. I wont touch it with the mop itself.

  • My gut feeling when there is a mention of 1500w etc.. it is a no go for me.

    • Pretty sure the wattage is for the heating element so it sounds reasonable to me. I dont think this thing has a motor to vaccuum.

  • Free shipping in eBay & overcharged on their online shop, SQ. I don't know which way they promote? Isn't eBay more fee for them?

  • i never about brought these stuffs, coz none of these products are designed with quality or customer satisfaction in mind. I stopped buying cheap craps after I brought my Dyson vaccum cleaner few years back. Yes I spend $500 when I can get good branded vaccum clearners for $100 - 300 or cheap for 50 - 100. My friend who brought a decent vaccum cleaner for $150(we both brought stuff same day, same shop) has already brought new again and he still have trouble. At the same time I brought my dyson I still use my dyson like brand new. It is the finishing touch that make the quality. Great products are designed with perfection. You buy a stuff 60% perfect will end up a headache. I have doubts with this $40 deal. Guys remember once that $40 gone out of ur pocket thats gone, if u dont like the product you are stuck and only option is to look up the sky. to send it back to who ever selling this will dost you about $40 I guess. Anyway I dont spend my money, people are different , u do what u want.

  • it 25 sold already but it still saying more than 10 available so it wasnt Limited to the 1st 30 buyers?

    • +2

The price will be back to regular price once 30pcs sold.

      • If you are the rep and selling this then kindly tell us what brand is this. I mean everything comes with a brand right.

        • He is a rep. He's listed as rep for Apus/Shopping Square if you click his name. I'm guessing you can't be a rep for ebay links or something.

EDIT I want to make it clear that I don't think there's anything wrong with being a rep. A deal is a deal, doesn't matter who presents it. Some people seem to just assume it's a negative thing.

  • -1

Yes guys he is a rep, not even replying to comments. Look ,these guys got 1200 just in few hours selling crap(in my opinion). We work so hard every day and get nothing

  • -2

It is $58.95 now which is too much for this crap. Thanks but No Thanks

    • +2

read th wiki on what a valid negative vote - you really need to understand how it works here.

  • This thing is always advertised on morning television

  • 2-3 weeks ago, my brother bought a steam mop as well only $30/$40 at Aldi. Was on special tho.

    • How does the Aldi one perform?

  • Not bad…

At full price of 58.95 you can get the upgraded model for just 24.65 more.. (See Original Mop here: http://www.danozdirect.com.au/danoztest/mop50off/)
