Suspect only the east coast stores?

  • +5

    It's a trap!

    • +3

Some people from NYE last year still haven't found the way out of the store.

      • …and they have since divorced their respective husbands/wives.

Do you have to assemble the breakfast yourself?

    • +8

For $50 I will assemble it for you.

    • +19

In Melbourne, you have to pay extra to have your breakfast deconstructed.

    • How's the Kullen coming along? Ikea doesn't assemble itself, you know.

  • home boss say its unhealty meal start for new year. so no and i agree

    • +1

It's healthier than pretty much all breakfast cereals because you won't feel like eating 2 hours after breakfast. If you want to lose weight this is a good breakfast.

      • -1

had them before and pretty much family say no anyway.

bacon slices filled about half with fats, the sausages meat like dip is into a greasy fats. hash brown also zoggy but fill up deep fry oil. waited for it cool down will find out what it means.

So. up to the eater if they choose to take it.

We so need an Ikea in Newcastle…

  • +2

Is this for Ikeas nationwide? Or just stores in Brisbane? Because I didn't get an email..

Hmm…looks like hangover food…wonder if they will have a vegetarian option…

    • The WA and SA email indicates a vegetarian option is available.

A standard serving of the Hot Breakfast includes one serve of free-range scrambled eggs, one pork sausage, half a tomato, one serve of baked beans, one shortcut bacon rasher and one hash brown.

A standard serving of the Vegetarian Breakfast includes one serve of free-range scrambled eggs, half a tomato, one serve of baked beans and one hash brown.

A standard serving of the Kid’s Breakfast includes a choice of 3 breakfast items.

Vegetarians miss out on all the best bits :p

  • Cost of transport more expensive than the breakfast…ugh…

    • In Sydney it could cost between 0$ to 2.50 got public transport

      • +1

$2.50 because Sunday, not $0 because no more free trips.

        • -1

Free trips if u hit your weekly limit I believe. AND short trips at half fare may cost less than $2.50

        • @imcold: Isn't there free travel on NYE/Day anyhow?

        • +1

@imcold: There hasn't been any free trips since September 5 …

        • +1

@Diji1: No because NSW Government suck unlike their interstate counterparts. No free travel for days like Christmas Day or NYE.

This happened when they offered 1€ breakfast in the Netherlands:

    • Looks like a fun day out.
Go to Ikea to save $15 on breakfast, cop trolley dint to car costing you $220 to fix.

      • Don't know about your local Ikea, but the one in Adelaide has bollards that prevent trolleys from going out of the loading bay, so no chance of trolleys hitting cars

  • +1

Going in at 1:59 like a boss

  • +1

Excellent. Flying out of adelaide on NYD, will pop into Ikea for Breakfast first

  • Yum!!!

  • Guess they're betting no one will wake up before midday

  • Can I justify the heartache for a meal I can cook myself at home and the impending Ikea relationship breakup…? lol

    Probably.

How I wish the NT would get an IKEA.
