$10 is a great deal, even for a mini teddy. If you want to go and buy a teddy from Kmart and chuck it in the express post to your gf, go right ahead. I know which one my gf would prefer.

yeah, i got a really free teddy bear for signing up with Nutricia a while back, still got the cutie! and free shipping! i'm getting wary of these 'free' items where clearly the cost of postage is partly/fully subsidizing the cost of the item, if it was up to me, no more 'free + shipping=$xx', it would be 'item including postage=$xx'
ps 'free' would only apply to items where pickup is ok-also proves my point they are making money off postage…
I'd like to think our product warrants the additional fee.

Some people really have no idea what is costs to ship things.
A box weighing up to 500g costs $6 to post.
Someone has to get the box, put the item in it, close the box, prepare and print the address label and stick it to the box.
Dont forget there is the cost of the box and packaging materials too
Paying $3-4 in handling is more than reasonable as packing things is time consuming, especially if packing to avoid damage.
If the bear+box weight more than 500g the postage fee alone is more than $10.
Then in this case there is the greeting card, wrapping paper and gift box
I know where you're coming from, at least this company has it clear-put in the title, no dodgy catches.. plus the postage/production costs is well worth it :) But there are deals on here which state free and have hidden sneaky costs which really is no bargain whatsoever. This one seems reasonable :)

Hi Affectionate, the deal is good although why do we need to register an account if we are paying by paypal ?
It would be better to have the option to not sign up yet use paypal as payment method as paypal supplies the address for delivery, this way people would be able to checkout in 1 minute and no one likes to sign up for an account if they have paypal already

There was an issue with the courier pickup yesterday. I won't name names but let's just say the company rhymes with "AusFailure Post".

Yeah we felt pretty bad too so we upgraded every order to express post for FREE. These teddies should start arriving with their new owners tomorrow but might be slightly longer in regional areas.

Wow thats not good. Everything was sent out Thursday for next day delivery.
Australia post did call me a couple of time to confirm addresses as some people missed of company names, levels or suite number but I gave these customers a call straight away.
