  I think because the deal was supposed to start on boxing day but they reduced it early from $605 to $505. Obviously come boxing day then the sale was supposed to officially start they reduced it again. Not realising that the discounted sale price had already been implemented.

Picked mine up about 40 mins ago. Confirming I got it for $404. But the price has changed back to $505 so I hope all your online purchase at $404 goes through !
