It's amazing how fast technology moves now.

There was a time when people laughed at those using refidex instead of GPSs. Now people laugh at those using GPSs instead of smart phones.

You're still using a Smart Phone? ROFL its all about the cerebral chip implant now.

Please don't invest on this unit, it is one of the worst GPS I've ever owned in the top brand category

  • got an email recently from TomTom informing me that my unit is no longer been supported and cannot get any further map updates. And that I should swab and purchase a newer model. How is TomTom still making money? They're the next Kodak

  • People generally say to avoid Navman, but I take that advice without much consideration, so do check reviews and do your research before buying this.

  • This was only $119 last week! Expired now though.

    Got a 660LMT the 6" for 150~ or so. It's a great device I must say…

  • Can anyone recommend a decent GPS with free lifetime map updates, free speed/red light camera updates and any that allow a reverse camera to be plugged in?

  • In my experience Garmin > tom tom > navman

Please let me know if anyone can find the best price for garmin nuvi 2589lmt. Thanks.

Best i found was $189 tgg.

Considering laet year i bought garmin nuvi 2597lmt for just $116 from jb's and it turn out to be the best satnav i used till date.
But it's been discontinued and replaced by newer version 2589lmt. But there hardly any difference so not sure paying that extra cost is worth it.

In search for another one probably going with 2589lmt unless you guys suggest better alternative. Lifetime map, safety & speed camera alerts are a must.
