I was just thinking the same thing, but if you think about it most mechanics will charge around $100/hr, so if you're reasonably competent you can get some of your mechanical work done for about half price.
Wish there was one close to home in St Kilda….use hoist do oil, bleed brakes , bleed clutch check gear box and diff oil …..well worth it and easier than crawling under the car on ramps in the street. UI
