Hi everyone.

I received a letter from RACV, offering 2 years of Roadside Assist for the price of 1. Not sure if this is targeted or not. When i called and spoke to the operator, she just asked for the code…….and nothing more.

The offer, expires on Thursday, 8th of December.

You can redeem the offer either in store or, on telephone.

    Can't use the code - it's a targeted offer for people whose membership has lapsed. I asked if I could cancel membership and use the code and they said no, because the offer is targeted.

      Thats strange. My Roadside is due to expire in June, 2017…….

      Maybe try again tomorrow.

    Worked for me.. just called them and mentioned that I received a letter with code. They gave me 2 years 'extra care' for one year's fee.. Thanks OP…

    I was told I was an a premium service not the basic one so I couldn't get it.

      makes no sense.. no premium or basic there.. three types and I was on extra care that I chose again.. Probably try again and you may find a good one who can help.

    Just called up and got the deal on the phone, no issues. $95 for 2 years - takes me up until Jan 2019 :)

    Got this on my old car just in case I ever need a tow (fair likelihood)

    Never been a customer, but funny thing, I called up last night to sign up, but the system was down for maintenance so she couldn't put it through. What she could do however is put my details in, and then I could call the next day to put the payment details through.

    Then I called today, and the guy who answered assumed I was a previous customer because my details were already in the system :P
