Title pretty much says it all. $100 off their regular price but more importantly about $30 less than the cheapest price elsewhere (excluding grey importers). Doesn't appear to be one of their usual catalogue specials - saw it advertised last night and it ends in a couple of days.

I have an IXUS 120 IS as well. I would get it over the 130 IS from the looks of reviews. Apparently the 130 has worse image and video quality. Both models have a widescreen lens for pictures and 720p HD video.

now…the 14.1Mega Pixel is worse than the 12.1Mega Pixel?
It's possible, if they didn't change the sensor size that 14.1mp is worse than 12.1mp.
Don't tell me there are still people out there who think more megapixels = better?

but these two are under the same spec(see the canon AU web site)
difference for them is only 14.1MP and the other is 12.1MP

as the canon AU web site says it has some later technology/software
@davidl2: The 130 IS is the newer model and was released after. There's no reason why they would release a 12.1mp camera after releasing a 14.1mp camera. Doesn't make sense. I've had my 120 IS since last December.

Great deal - great, easy to use camera.
Have an Ixus 120 and it's a great camera, although definitely not suited for anyone who wants heaps of different modes/settings - it's for someone who wants a simple stylish camera that works well. Good price.
