When you disarm/arm the system on the keypad how noisy is it? I purchased an arlec one years ago and it was extremely loud beeping just to opperate it (arm/disarm).
Not that loud. Pressing the numbers is audible, but not loud at all. If code is incorrect, unit beeps twice as loud in an erroneous kinda way. hard to explain.
Any feedback on these from anyone?

No one will have feedback yet. This has not been sold before in Australia to my understanding. For $16.95, you really can't go wrong. I can confirm however, no suprises. the units do exactly what they say they do and yes they are VERY LOUD when they go off.
Just ordered a set, can't go wrong for $8.50 a pop. Should be a good deterrent for thieves anyway :)
If I was a thief I'd simply take the battery out or flush it down a toilet.

I hate those loud alrams :-)As per my suggestion, just flush it, or muffle it in a blanket :)
