Nah, different styles have different cuts. Depends what you get. I find the underwear can fit well, but AussieBum swimwear is usually way too small.
And it's more so the back that's inadequate. If you wear them so the back part is at a normal height on your waist, it pulls fabric back from the front. Not so comfy.
Some (most?) of the styles are extremely low-rise.
Not great if you have a big booty.

I've never owned any compression leggings. I suspect they may be more about the print than anything, but bought 2 of them anyway since I had to spend $60 for the AMEX rebate.

For swimmers, I haven't worn WJ before. I usually get a mix of 1.5 and 2.5 classic with/without printed logo for beach and pool.
Just to note, AussieBum is heavily marketed towards gay men, so other gay guys may make certain assumptions if they see you wearing them. (Granted, if you're in a position where another gay man is looking at your underwear, then maybe that's not such an issue for you anyway.)

My partner bought them for me last year when they were first released and I can't recommend them at all:
The pouch is way too small.
The string is over 20 mm wide and has double overlocked seams, ouch!
They're extremely low-rise and are styled after briefs but with a thong back. They seem to have been designed to look cute but are completely uncomfortable and impractical for activity.
This bulge is RIDICULOUS!

I would definitely recommend this underwear - I do agree with some others that it can be snug and you may be better to go one size up if you are unsure.
This particularly applies to any "wonderjock" ones, which honestly give you the most ridiculous looking bulge, that I probably wouldn't recommend them to anyone who regularly wears trackies.

Super soft, no need to size up (medium, for me at least), and so cute XD. Also no big logo to worry about, which can get a bit much with this brand. Also much softer than other aussiebums ive tried.

I can attest to the fact they're not all as comfortable as each other as some focus on aesthetics. I think the Journey is the most comfortable for short styles and I've tried lots of them from different sales. I've noticed middle aged men in suits have sock-flair to be adventurous and attempt to show personality, this is jock-flair.
