I believe this might be the cheapest price ever (once nespresso Cashback is taken into account) for the Latissima Plus machine. Definitely a good buy imo. As above I use mine multiple times everyday.
Yes and no, depends on whether you have AMEX to bring the price down. For example I got mine for $193 after Harvey Norman sign up credit, cashback and AMEX credit (and some people got it for $173 with $50 AMEX credit) :

Having said that though, if Harvey Norman can pricematch TGG's price, then the price will come down to $349 - $70 cashback - $100 AMEX credit,then that's $179.. Still not as cheap as $173 but close enough!! Or, if you consider $95 credit for the capsule spending as the 'cashback' (which makes sense to me since we all buy at least one welcome pack) then the price effectively comes down to $154..Cheapest ever!!

Haven't used an Inissia but it's Nespresso's spec so doubt there's any difference in the actual coffee. IIRC supposedly Pixies breakdown slightly less.
Yes you can use different branded pods, IMO they don't taste as good but they're cheaper.

At $80 would highly recommend, great gift. The coffee is only fine, but it's very convenient and you'd have to spend a whole lot more to get much better espresso.
I've used both - coffee taste is exactly the same. The metal handle on the pixie feels a little more 'solid' and sturdy - but I haven't had the handle on my inissia fail on me yet. Pixie looks good in the kitchen, buy you have to keep it clean. Brown coffee splashes / milk / dust / watermarks do show up a little (not a major issue) on the metal so it's good to wipe it down with a fairly dry sponge after use.
Pixie is a stronger machine, it's also made in Switzerland unlike the Inissia which is made in China.
I chose the Pixie over Inissia 6 months ago. Great machine.
For only $10 more I might actually get Pixie for the look and style which I personally prefer anyway.

The AMEX offer is completely separate from the Nespresso cashback offer. Also, the AMEX offer is only valid with Harvey Norman, not TGG.

Bought the pixie, thanks. For $10 extra I figured it was worth it since it looks a bit nicer if nothing else. Also clearly states in description that it comes bundled with milk frother. I think the inissia also has one as it's listed in the spec, but better safe than sorry.

Pixie is a great machine.
Great deal - the aeroccino alone sells for $80-$100. So if you don't don't a milk frother, resell it and get the coffee machine for virtually nothing.
Bought the Samsung 55" earlier, now a Pixie! Both for the new house. This is brilliant! I hope TGG Ebay hangs around after JBHiFi get their hands on them!

OP, the Latissima Plus you linked to says EN521R, but looking at DeLonghi's website and Nespresso's claims page, it only mentions various colours of EN520. I wonder if this EN521 is an error or actually not eligible.

Great bought another Pixie for the folks this time! They are the only model that is Swiss made I think.
I have an Inissia, work has a Pixie, pretty much exactly same machine with the Inissia having a more plasticky finish, can't go wrong with either.
$80 for an Inissia and an Aeroccino 3 is an absolute steal. I think I paid $100 for the two.
If you're on the fence about making the purchase do it. I love my Inissia.

The only problem after buying the pixie is that the side panels (to change color) is like 25% of the cost of the machine. Makes it hard to justify :-p anyone knows a store that sells them a bit cheaper?
Edit: or maybe I misunderstood this. Can I change the sides on the pixie, or is that a different pixie model?

Then what I did, I just select delivery and proceed to check out and there I can specify pick up location then I can get through.

Caffitaly pods are not compatible
There are a few brands on the shelf at coles/woolies. I use the Lor capsules which I think are pretty good! Not as good as nespresso but a lot cheaper if you get them on sale at ~35-40c/pod. They are also one of the only non-nespresso brands that do the long shot pods.

Anybody received their coffee credit yet? Mine says 'approved' when i logged in to check but didnt recieve any email notifications that were meant to be given. It doesnt seem like my account on nespresso is active yet as i cant login there either to check or purchase pods
