130

We're running out the last of the 2016 model of the Black Wolf Turbo Tent. Most of the prices are around (or almost) 50% off and we've worked hard to make sure they're the lowest prices in Australia.

Models Available

Turbo 210

Turbo Lite 240
Turbo 240
Turbo Lite 240 Plus
Turbo 240 Plus

Turbo Lite 300

Turbo Lite 300 Plus

Turbo Lite Twin 240
Turbo Lite Twin 300

Turbo Lite Cabin 450

Why Are They So Cheap?

This is the last of the previous model - the new model is available too. We got a really good deal for buying a heap of the 2016 model, so you get to benefit from the ripping low prices!

And hey, Snowys always strives to offer the lowest price everyday.

What Are The Differences Between The 2016 Model and 2017 Model?

There's a few - we wrote a big comparison piece on the two you should check out. Indeed, the 2017 has a few design improvements but nothing that can't be taken care of with a tube of Seam Grip or Seam Seal. We actually think the floors are better on the 2016 model too. So, for the price you'd be silly to not grab a 2016 model while you still can!

Free Delivery? What's the Catch

We deliver for free to most of Australia. Check out our delivery map to see if you're covered. Unless you're in woop woop, you probably are.

Oh, our delivery is usually pretty fast too. But I'm bias - you shouldn't listen to me. Check out what our customers have to say about us on Facebook Reviews and ProductReview.com.au.

great deal! If I didn't already have the Coleman (US version) I'd be on this!

    • Thanks anthem29! Nothing wrong with Coleman! You've got an Instant Up? :) ~ Paul

      • +1

Yep the US version, which doesn't use a fly. Bought it before to AU version existed, does the job.

        • It doesn't have a fly? Interesting. So it's a 'single-skin' design?

        • +1

          @paul-snowys:

They released the fly down the track to help with snow buildup, otherwise no fly needed.

We don't even bother using staking it down or using the guy ropes half the time.

Think ours is a 10x9, but you get the idea (bought from Amazon when we had parity.) https://www.walmart.com/ip/Coleman-Instant-Set-Up-4-Person-T…

@anthem29: Well I'll be. Oh, I remember when we had parity. Good times. :)

  • Any deal on coleman tents?

    • Always, [@edwink]. Check out the range here: https://www.snowys.com.au/coleman-instant-up-tents

I had a look around and these Coleman tents are the cheapest I can find in Australia, there is one for the same price on eBay, but the guys down at Snowys are pretty cool, so I'll be buying from them when I decide to take the leap

Thanks rep, do you recommend air tents or pole tents? Can you beat the price on this?
        http://www.wildearth.com.au/buy/black-wolf-turbo-air-twin-ro…

        • To be honest, I recommend Black Wolf's pole tent product. Their air tents are okay, but I believe Zempire do air better. I see that Wild Earth price is available only for a few more days. We'll happily beat 'em if you place a phone order. Seriously consider the 2016 pole tents we have on sale though. Cheers, Paul

  • Anaconda has 50% off Black Wolf Turbo tents atm

    • they also do a price policy https://www.anacondastores.com/shop-anaconda/play-more-pay-l…
show them the deals from snowys and get another 10% off
Turbo Lite Plus 240 Tent for $580 aint bad at all, but i want the heavy version at that price!

You're quite right, but 3 things to take into account:

        1. They charge $15 delivery on Turbos under their 'Big & Bulky' pricing schedule.

        2. Of the 2016 models they have listed on the website, they only have 6 models in stock.

        3. Be mindful of the terms and conditions of the Play More, Pay Less offer. Two terms that stick out:

        • The lowest price guarantee is not available for online purchases at this time.
        • Excludes competitor websites that don't have a physical store within the same state or territory where you are seeking the price match.

What does this mean? In short, you will only be eligible for their Play More, Pay Less offer with regards to our special prices, if you're in SA and the SA Anaconda store you visit has that item in stock. My checks suggest there are only two models that may be in stock in Mile End (looks as though Modbury and Noarlunga are completely out - could be wrong, but that's what my check on their site kicks up).

Just want you to be completely across their offer.

Ours. Pretty simple. Buy for the price you see online right now. Get free delivery unless you're in woop woop.

p.s. We closely monitor the competition and strive to always have the lowest price.

        Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

Hey Paul, thanks for the info, dont get me wrong, not trying to take business away from you, just trying to rip off your competitors!

        • @dcarbonetti: No, no. All good. :) We're happy to compete. Just wanted you to know that there might be more than meets the eye.

  • +1

Have you got lots of stock or is it the kind of thing you are likely to sell out of within the next few days?

    • We have quite a bit of stock of some, and not so much of others. That said, this post is part of a wider advertising campaign so we expect to tear through it pretty quickly. Especially the more popular models like the 210 and 240 Lites.

Just logged in to say that my best camping gear purchases have been through the Snowys website. The only time I had issues, I was immediately about to speak to somebody that was understanding and apologetic and fixed it without hassle. I first found them while looking to purchase a Camelbak Chute bottle and they had out-priced even eBay sellers at the time. I'm from Vic, didn't realise that Snowys had brick and mortar locations.

    • Naww, thanks ZJack. We do try. Sorry you had an issue but hey, you got to have a chat to us in the end and it sounds like it was all sorted. :)

Yep, we have one brick 'n' mortar location in SA. Richmond Road, Keswick - just out of the city. If you over here sometime, pop in and say hi. Cheers, Paul

Do you guys stock motorbike touring touring tents?
    Lightweight, quality…..(at my budget price?

    • G'day albanyson - Sorry about the slow reply. I was lucky enough to have a few days off! We do stock a range of lightweight dome and hiking tents. In fact, I wrote a blog on the swags v tents for motorbike touring a few months back which gives my recommendations for the best touring tents:

      https://www.snowys.com.au/blog/motorcycle-camping-swags-vs-t…

My vote for the top 3 motorbike touring tents are - based on price, popularity, and our impressions:

      Companion Pro Hiker 2
      Zempire Zeus Hiking Tent
MSR Hubba Hubba NX Hiking Tent

None of them have a vestibule suitable for your bike, but we can certainly look into some of those options if that's what you're after.

      • Thanks Paul,
        Appreciate the follow up.
Will read the blog and view your recommendations….

Are you able to do an ozbargain special on these?

        • They're already at our everyday low prices, so you won't find much better. :)

        • @paul-snowys:

Recommendations on light weight cookware? (Jet boil/MSR etc)

          What do you recommend?

        • @albanyson:

Good question. It comes down to the food you're wanting to cook. If you're happy to eat freeze-dry meals, instant mash and cous cous - anything that just requires boiling water - then the Jetboil is a great option. Simple, quick, compact.

If you want to have the option to cook things - fry up some snags, simmer a pasta, and so on - then a cannister style stove (the Furno pot set and stove is really good value) is a good option, but you'll need pots and/or pans; or even a Trangia. For the record I'm a Trangia guy - I have a Mini. On a recent hiking trip down to Deep Creek, I heated up vacuum pack curry (the sort you buy at an Indian grocer for a couple of bucks!) and fried up little chapatis in the fry pan/lid. Wouldn't have been able to do this with a Jetboil.
