Reviews seem a bit on the bad side. For $10 I don't think there is much room for complain though.
The case has a handle and can be carried by hand, I wouldn't carry it a long distance as it weights about 6~7kgs and is quite large (so you have to lift it up high). Would fit in the trunk or Back seat of any non-micro car.
Mine feels pretty solid… I'm not sure how one could break the legs on this thing.
I didn't look closing to be honest sorry, but it was all near where the legs met the top.

I'm sure something very similar to these were rrp $15 down to $10 at my local target. You can also use it as a cheap TV stand for a small sized screen (under 24" or so).
Could have been dropped twice. There is a sticker on the pack that says $49 and that's where I got my original price from.
