http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/25552or even Olin? (without USB)
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/26569at least laser have this product on their site with firmware updates, this product is not on the Akai site nor is there any firmware
For me no support means no purchase
and shoppingsquare is still selling Laser PVR STB for $66.95 + shipping
http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/product.php?id=14874I guess I would buy the Laser instead if AKAI is offering similar pricing!
not bad check with ozstock they may still have some if shoppingsquare is no good for you
Fully compliant with DVB-T and H.264, AVC, MPEG4,MPEG2 Standard
If it can play hi-def h264 in mp4 files, that would be very nice. PVR and media player in one.
Must be some catch though - googling the model find only a bunch or reject-shop / old-model-dumping outfits.
Why is it not on the akai website?
not sure if its a good model but the general price is $84.95-$99.00
support doesnt look good
