Tried to use it to pre-order a $23 meal here in Sydney and got error in the APP saying cannot be used at this restaurant.

Works in my area (Ryde). Trialled it with a restaurants that hadn't opened for the day yet, but it worked for a pre - order.
Sorry guys was in a rush this morning to get to work but this was at Parramatta station so it maybe for WEST restaurants. Will be interesting to see if it works if you substitute NORTH, SOUTH etc instead.

It worked fine for me and I wasn't a new or a targeted person (not that Im aware of at least). It might be area based though.

Presumably suburbs outside the CBD.
Testing the code, it works on restaurants from suburbs including Parramatta, Bankstown, Campsie, Lakemba, Lidcombe, Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Blacktown, Penrith etc. Confirmed not working on restaurants around the Sydney CBD (Newtown, Ultimo, Pyrmont, Kensington).
Edit: also works at Macquarie Park, Castle Hill, Richmond
