No 'fitted' or 'superfitted' OCBDs. These actually fit properly instead of looking billowy for the majority of people. For shame.

    • +1

Are these billowy like the Charles Trywhitt shirts? I ordered so called slim fit shirts that had way too much fabric in the arms that made them look like the Seinfeld pirate shirt.

      • I'm having the same problem with the 'slim fit' shirt I last purchased from TM Lewin. It seems that for the super-fitted shirt at least they also take quite a bit of fabric out of the arms. I'm not sure to what extent they do this with the 'fitted' or 'slim fit'. Something worth messaging them about.

Might be time to put some muscle mass on.

        • I Ordered the super fitted cutting after CT slim shirt turning out to be really for larger size people. The TML super fitted ones are true to the description. In fact it was too tight around my chest and arms I had to return it lol

        • @Jared17: Yea, fitted is better than super fitted imo.

      • +1

The super fitted shirts fit awesomely (I'm a fairly slender build).

      • I like the fit much better on TML. I've ordered slim fit shirts from both TML and CT, and I found the CT ones way too baggy. I returned the CT ones for extra slim fit, and while they were more fitted, the cut just wasn't as nice yet comfortable as the TML.

        • Ditto. The CT was super baggy on me, but the fitted is nice and comfortable

I have a reasonably athletic body type with broad shoulders and not girly arms and I find that Tyrwhitt shirts that fit are the Extra Slim. They still have a tiny bit too much fabric on the mid section but I am happy with them.

TM Lewin shirts fit better, I wear their FITTED which is great, perfect amount of fabric on the mid-section. Superfitted I'd dare say would be for quite slender/petite guys. No offence to anyone.

If they don't have the items you ordered in stock locally, they ship them from London.

    • got mine last week. wearing the second one now

    • Same - ordered day after it appeared on ozbargain.

anyone know the return policy with this? they say hassle-free returns but do we have to pay return postage? CT was super easy to deal with for returns, parcelpoint is so good, not sure about how TM does things. especially considering free shipping with this deal

Thanks for the instructions OP. Got (another) couple shirts.
Every TM Lewin sale brings me a little bit closer to being able to throw beautiful shirts around the room to make women cry.

  • Can't seem to get free shipping to work… anyone else had this issue?

    • yeah same issue, worked once but I left cart to add more and now i can't get it to show up again.

    • If you visit via the link to the discounted shirts above, a cookie should be created to add free shipping to your order.

    • Start again but try using this link for Step 4.

  • Thanks OP. Do you get free shipping for under $100?

  • I don't think it will work if you log in.

  • My order for a super fitted shirt went through. Thanks OP

  • The step 4 link took me to the homepage and didn't update the prices. This link worked.

  • Thank OP!. Bought more shirts that i didn't need :)

Don't forget cashrewards for an extra 4% cash back.

    • Did you manage to get CR to track your purchase?

The affiliate code seems to fall off when following the process to get the 13% discount code working

      • No tracking email yet but I activated cashrewards using the google chrome addin as the last step before I purchased.

  • cheers. good value

  • Anyone have some first hand experience on whether the super-fitted shirts are slimmer than the Charles Tyrwhitt (CT shirts) extra slim?

    • You are better off searching past CT Shirts postings. It gets discussed EVERY single time. In short, CT shorts are much bigger than TMLewin.

      • I know I've read all those threads but apparently one of them adjusted their fit after getting fair amount of cust feedback (maybe it was CT?). So I guess I'm interested in what it is with current sizing

        • +1

Check the measurement charts, tm is slimmer

  • How slim are the casual slim fit shirts? I usually buy 'Fitted' shorts from TMLewin.

  • Tossing up between TML's OCBDs which are billowy for anyone who isn't overweight and Uniqlo's offerings which are probably a bit lesser in quality but fit better. Could get TML's offerings tailored closer to my size but then I may as well just use a garment from an op-shop.

  • thanks OP, bought 5x shirts :) worked perfectly following the steps. great work

  • Where do you put in the code exactly?

  • Perfect steps, worked 100% Thanks OP.
PS. Used Incognito mode in Chrome

  • Many thanks OP, steps worked very well.

      and Charles Tyrwhitt

    • Not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, at least the shirts look good, they're 100% cotton, and they've got lots of sizing options.

  • Website really struggles with these deals, using Chrome browser I was completely unable to use the filters on the left to narrow down the shirt selections, but only if I visited the promo link, the regular site worked fine. Using Firefox the promo link filtering also didn't work and all sorts of other website features were limited (no hover-over pop-ups, positioning of the header broken, unable to change how many items appeared per window etc).

Discount worked just fine in Chrome incognito though - cheers!

  • Thanks OP, i got some shirts on your last deal. I got one more shirt and 1 new Trouser with 13% + free shipping, amazing deal. My work clothes were long overdue for replacement your deals were excellent chance!

  • Can't add to bag for some reason

Where do I put the coupon? Can't find it with a full priced item even after going through the checkout

    • If the coupon box doesn't appear for you it would be best to remove cookies from tmlewin.com.au and start over. Here's a video walkthrough.

      • Thanks, I actually got it working by using a different browser (IE - shudders)

    • Use incognito, if fail just restart the browser and start again.

You have to start with adding a non-sale item (eg: umbrella), then checkout > add code > add the sale products you wanted. once you added the promo code, you can empty your cart doesn't matter. Hope it helps

  • I have the same problem not be able to find coupon box on check out page

  • When I zoomed in all their casual shirts look thick (material wise) not the soft thin shirts which would be more ideal for summer.

    • Nah i was thinking the same too, I owned a few shirts from them, double folded great quality. If you want lighter material, go for "broadcloth" or "poplin", they are great for summer.

    • That's what I thought too, just from looking at them. I bought one casual shirt as a trial from their previous deal about a week or so ago, and it was delivered today (well, technically yesterday, since it's morning time now), but I wasn't home so I'll have to pick it up from my local AusPost office and try it on this morning. If that fits well and looks good, then I'll make a couple more purchases from this deal before it expires later tonight.

PS: CT Shirts had some very good-looking casual shirts, but only small sizes remain, and they don't seem to be restocking them soon as that has been the case for many months now.

  • I called them to change one item, was told the order has been sent to warehouse but I could cancel it (normally takes 1 hour to proces) then re-place the order which I did, now have been waiting for 2 hours with no update I guess I have to pass this deal.

  • I got the non-iron twill fitted white shirt, but I've found it to be slightly transparent without an undershirt. Has anyone found a white shirt that doesn't have this problem?

    • +1

try the oxford? Uses twice the material.

  • +1

Anyone want to confirm or deny the Fitted/Super fitted shirts? I can't get it to work, but maybe doing something wrong? We have 1 person saying Yes and 1 person saying No from what i'm reading here

  • Tried a few times using the steps above.
No joy in getting shirts down to $35.

I added a shirt at $89.95 and it came down to $88.26

    Any suggestions?

    Steps I carried out -
    1. Cleared Cookies
    2. Added Umbrella (using link)
    3. Added voucher code
    4. Clicked on shirts link
    5. Added Shirt
    6. Deleted Umbrella.

    Cheers, Dave

Same issue, i'm guessing the $40 shirts offer has expired :(

    • Yes it looks like it has expired. You can use this link (for step 4), but you'll need to buy at least 3 shirts to get free shipping (free shipping on orders over $100).

    • O damn it! I should have picked up that shirt from the previous deal yesterday from my AusPost office and tried it on already. Missed out on few more shirts again.

  • has anyone received theirs yet, i am still waiting..

    • Yeah I received mine last week. Got the wrong shirt (double cuff not single) and returned it in store (they send it back to the UK for you at their cost). Disappointingly, they had hard any non-iron shirts in store.

    • Yep, got mine today

    • Got mine on the 9th

  • Hey guys,

I'm a Charles Tyrwhitt customer like many of you and would like to try TM Shirts. My CT shirt size is 39cm/84cm and Extra Slim Fit. Just wondering what's the equivalent size and fit in TM. Any inputs would be much appreciated. Thanks!
