Some people prefer buying in store rather than online.

      • -2

and how does that make it a bargain? Read the deal posting rules…

and how does that make it a bargain?

          because it's discounted instore

they said some people prefer instore, doesn't mean it's cheaper

          key word

          INSTORE

i bought from this seller last week and both arrived broken because it came in an ordinary envelope. im still waiting for a replacement

    • Not any more you can't not from that seller. Besides as said above there's a high chance that the glass will arrive broken. Atleast buying in store from Kmart means a high chance that the glass won't be broken, isn't that worth the extra $1?. You wouldn't need the hassle of chasing up an online seller for a replacement which in a likely chance that those would arrive broken too.

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

    • Termpered glass isn't all the same. I'd expect the kmart one to have better quality control

  • c'mon man he's still got his L's

    • -3

not sure how he passed the test to get them…

      • +1

What test? There is no test for OzBargain

        • -2

          To get your 'L's

          @jv:

Yeah, but there is no test

L's or no L's rules are rulezzzzz

I'd rather buy these in store from Kmart for $1 more and have them in my hands unbroken in one piece rather than have them shipped from an online seller unprotected in a plain envelope which would arrive with the glass shattered. What's the point of that if the goods are guaranteed to arrive broken. I mean paying slightly less is not necessarily better you've got to take into account how the item is shipped with what sort of protection, fragile stuff such as glass shipped in an ordinary envelope is no good. I bet those "rules" don't take into account that.

        • Not always, some of the packaging is fairly durable from some ebay sellers. I was expecting a piece of glass in an envelope too but some I got are pretty solid.

        • @jay510:

In other words it's pot luck if you buy from a seller which packages well. You're really at the mercy of the seller to package the item well. Most sellers don't.

        • @hollykryten: good point!

  • 7's link thanks

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

Also would most probably have arrived glass broken in an ordinary envelope. You people who bought that are going to be disappointed and wished you bought the one in store from Kmart instead.

I can head to Kmart tomorrow and purchase it, rather than wait weeks for the item to arrive.
When ordering from ebay#overseas there maybe a possibility that it gets damaged during shipping or they supply the wrong item. (happens numerously)
So getting the tempered glass from Kmart for a small premium is worth it as you can check and see the item before purchasing it.
This makes sure the glass is not broken and the labels states the right model for ur phone!

    • +8

Right, except they won't fit an iPhone screen.

      • Didn't you see the word iPad?. I think he means if you have an iPad that these are very good value too.

        • No, they said the iPad ones are better value.

        • @tranqme:

Twice the amount of tempered glass for only $3 more. :P

You are right though useless for an iPhone won't fit.

      • Right, except they won't fit an iPhone screen.

        Well, DERRRRRRR. What an idiot!

I said they are better value, not that they are the same size LOL

        • How are they better value when they are to suit two different devices?

        • @tranqme:

How are they better value when they are to suit two different devices?

Gosh, it's a challenge to communicate here sometimes.

Is a Hyundai better value as a family car than a Ferrari?

Are apples better value when they are in season, compared to mangos in winter?

        • @llama:

Now you're comparing apples to mangos, thanks for proving my point.

        • @tranqme:

          Proving what point? ROFL

I cannot understand why you can't grasp that I am not comparing the 2 different models of screen protectors against each other… I am comparing their relative VALUE

        • @llama:

You one you are continuously trying to discredit.

This deal was posted to inform others of an iPhone screen protector, your comment would have been valid if you were just informing others of the iPad variant, instead you are attempting to state it is far better value, which is incorrect.

        • @tranqme:

You one you are continuously trying to discredit

OMG. Yes, OK, of course, whatever.

instead you are attempting to state it is far better value, which is incorrect.

          ROFL

  • have anyone tried the 6 plus glass screen protector from Kmart on their 7 plus?

  • +1

As someone who has used screen protectors for many years I can tell you there is DEFINITELY a quality difference depending on how much you pay. Proper branded products (e.g. power support) are often VERY scratch resistant as promised…many of the ebay ones or cheap Chinese shopping centre store ones don't live up to anywhere NEAR the claims of hardness they promise and your phone screen looks like a scratched mess without weeks.

Sometimes even the branded products from ebay turn out to be fake as I discovered on a couple of occasions and when you point it out to the seller they try to hush you with a full refund.

so yes you can buy a Kilo of screen protectors from Ebay for $4…but just like many things in life you often get exactly what you are paying for…

    • In other words you get what you pay for.

  • Reject shop also sell them for $5.00

    • Same brand, Audiosonic?. I thought that was a Kmart only brand.

Reject Shop probably sells those cheap lower quality ones coming from China.

      • They all come from China

        • But not all have the same quality of tempered glass and quality control.
