228 Finish Powerball Quantum Power Gel Dishwashing Tablets for $59.90 Delivered from COTD (26.2c/Tablet)

51

Just got an email about this.
Didn't seem that great as it was for 228 Tablets.
Then I went into it and it says each 38 pack are actually 50% extra for FREE. So 6 boxes of these are actually 342 Tablets!
This equates to approx 17.5 cents per tablet.

Stock up now! Limit of 5 per customer (Although 1710 dishwashing tablets is a little overboard lol)

It says on the 2nd photo that box contains 25 + 13 free. So you only get 228 in total.

    • Yo keen-eyed jabbajabba

  • I doubt that. it is 38 per box on packing, it would normal say exact number inside, so dont be too excited
    COTD says "Total pack contents: 6 x 38pk = 228 capsules"

  • A little misleading then perhaps from COTD's part as they have 2 other offers also at the same price (for 6x 38 packs) and they do not have the 50% more for free on the box… hmmm

Anyone from COTD on here that can verify?

  • Assuming these are actually 228 tablets as listed, it comes out the same price as this deal, with postage factored in

    • going by the language on the sticker, these ones are good at cleaning turkey off your plates

It uses superposition and entanglement so that 228 is also 342 and every other number in between, whilst using quantum decoherence to remove the dirt from your dishes. I love using these, the only drawback is every now and then I open the dishwasher and find a cat in there.

    • +1

That was both beautiful and disgraceful at the same time.

    • Just open the dishwasher, grab the (profanity) (reference to Trump speech) and shut the door again.

    • Was the cat in there dead or alive when you closed the dishwasher ?

    • +1

If you put two cats in the dishwasher, they become entangled.

i find the Fairy tablets are cheaper and work better than these

Good for you but choice do scientific testing using multiple machines and come to the conclusion that finish is better time and time again not to mention that finish is often cheaper.

      • Some Fairy tablets are better than Finish, some Finish tablets are better than Fairy. Not too sure about the parallel imports. Aldi is the best bang for buck IMO unless you can get the others cheaper.

        Choice Chart via my thread

  • Currently 29 cents per tablet at Woolworths. If you combine it with AMEX statement credit for Woolworths Online it comes down as low as 23.2 cents per tablet.

  • FYI, the Coles "ultra" tablets are very good and only $5/box, 17c each. Made in EU.
Beware some other private labels, as well as grey-import Finish, which lack phosphates, so don't clean so well.

Where do they rank in choices testing?

It doesn't matter how finish tablets arrive in this country as they are all the same.

    • Some EU Finish Quantum tablets are the "chemical free" version that don't work as well.
I don't have any to check right now but I think the subtitle on this version is "Power and Free".
Reject Store sell this type the last time I checked.

    • Ranked # 3 on Choice. At 17c each, that's a great deal. Those are ranked 54%

EDIT: Actually, those are different, these are the good ones. 76%

      • The 17c ones are the "6 in 1", which do not rank well on that chart.
I'm surprised, but Choice testing is often not very scientific. if its not double-blind, take it with a big dose of salt.

They seem to work as well as the regular Finish tablets. ie without that extra-glossy-glass additive that Quantum has. (just rinse aid)

    • Contents vary from country of manufacture so not all the same.

How do you know this? Finish A made in Poland is the same as Finish A made in Denmark. Of course Finish A is going to be different from Finish B no matter what country is made in.

        • Not true. Try reading the labels. Another source is the MSDS, which you can google.

        • @manic:

Not true. Try reading the labels.

Yes it is true. Finish product A has the same ingredients no matter where it's made in Europe.

You're confused with different products that have similar names.

  • Not that cheap at 26c each.
Anything less than 20c each is when it's a better buy.
