A really low price on this budget tablet from Teclast beating the previous deal and still one of the first Android 15 tablets with a few more unique features. Notably, it includes two USB-C ports - one USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) port with DisplayPort video output and PD fast charging, plus a second standard USB-C port with PD fast charging. The tablet also features a 90Hz display and LDAC high-definition audio via Bluetooth 5.4.

Like many others this supports Widevine L1 DRM for Netflix HD. It's using the new Allwinner A733 8 core CPU that sits below the mid-range MediaTek Helio G99 found in other budget tabs. So it's still good for low to mid-range gaming, emulation and general usage. As for downsides the RAM is 6GB instead of 8GB and the display resolution is 1280x800.

Featuring Android 15 with Google Play, 11" 1280x800 90Hz IPS Display, 6GB LPDDR5 RAM (+10GB extended RAM), 128GB UFS 3.0 Storage (microSD support), Allwinner A733 8-Core CPU, Allwinner IMG BXM-4-64 MC1 GPU, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 7000mAh battery with PD fast charging, dual USB-C, dual mics, dual speakers, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The dimensions are 258mm(L) x 170mm(W) x 8.3mm(H) and it weighs 540g.

  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD

1280 x 800 on this size is a hard pass

Looking at the predecessor tablet the resolution really doesn't make things look as bad as you think it would. At this price there's always a trade off :)

      • Given the lower processing power too, it’s the best tradeoff for a lower price point. Higher resolution screen for laggy user experience isn’t what you want to see.

If 15" i agree with you but this is 11..

      • +2

Depends how close you keep it to your eyes

Why would movie buffs be buying an 11 inch tablet in the 1st place, doesn't make sense.

Underpowered cars are no good for racing. Ugg boots are no good for running.

        • +1

          I admit I didn't notice that this was a $150 tablet when I commented!

I'm too tight to but a Galaxy, and have no desire to buy an iPad.

I've had Teclast, Lenovo, Motorola and no name tablets over the years. They've all been shite.

How is it that a tablet manager can't achieve, for example, the same performance that my Moto G84 achieves.

Basically, what's the best non-crap budget tablet?

Alldocube seems to be one of the best contenders for budget tablets although their 8' ones seem to be the most popular (iPlay 60 Mini Turbo & iPlay 60 Mini Pro). The new iPlay 70 was just announced which is 10.5 and that should be pretty good.

Edit: The iPlay 70 Pro was announced here: https://www.alldocube.com/en/blog/iplay-70-pro-launches-feb-…

Agreed, I'm on my 3rd Alldocube tablet and have been pretty happy with them as a mid-range tablet. Teclast seem to be chasing the lower end of the market these days.

        • I'm so keen for their iPlay 70 Mini once it gets released. If it's bad I'll get the iPlay 60 Mini but I'm keen to see what sort of specs it'll come out with.

The Google Pixel tablet has been on sale for $349 several times in the past, since it's made by Google themselves it has fairly long software support, up till 2028.

And while this isn't an Android tablet, and it's also a little old, the iPad 2021 goes for $347, though it's main achilles heel is that it doesn't have much storage at just 64GB (some reserved for the OS) and there's no SD card expansion slot to alleviate that problem. Okay if you're just going to use it for streaming video and doomscrolling social media, less so for actual productivity.

    • I got a Galaxy Tab A9+ (the 8/128 version) for $290 in December. I was a bit sceptical but I've been pleasantly surprised. Screen looks nice, audio is decent, and it runs very smoothly. I hear the 4gb version is underpowered for some, but the 8gb is working great for me (mostly web browsing, YouTube, some not super demanding mobile gaming). Dex mode with a wireless mouse and keyboard is very good too.

    • Have you tried the Lenovo Xiaoxin pad pro 2022? I have the Snapdragon 870 version and it is a beast. AMOLED display that looks better than the previous generation non-OLED iPads.

My favourite device to watch a movie on. Also runs every emulator I've tried. I got it for $290 ish as well.

    • There’s less competition in the tablet world, so less quality bang for buck offerings. With that being said I’m still using my ancient Samsung tab. I don’t see much reason to upgrade it, the oled display is still nice and performance is adequate for my use. Which is most multimedia and sometimes emulation of older gaming systems. I would only buy oled displays tablets and phones nowadays. So that eliminates most of the lower end stuff. The only exception was my iPad Pro, which I bought before Apple had released an oled model. :(

  • I'm in the market for something exactly like this, but there's so little in the way of actual reviews on this thing, I can't help but suspect I'd be better off throwing my money into the ocean.

Does anyone have any experience with it at all?

    • Don't you trust the 51 reviews on Aliexpress?

      • +2

I wouldn't, been burnt with cheap and nasty stuff with good reviews on AE before. Do not trust any reviews that's under a few thousand entries… wait, you are being sarcastic aren't you?

    • I bought one before xmas. I like it.
The video out was a draw card for me. Don't get the case it comes with, get a silicone one with kickstand.
So far i have no regrets with it.

I had a Teclast tablet and it lasted 7 months. The screen stopped responding and going through tech support with the company itself diagnosed it as hardware failure. AliExpress did nothing to help replace it as the retailer, they offered me $8USD as compensation. 12 month warranty must mean something different to them. Teclast as the manufacturer would not replace it either. Landfill fodder.

      • +1

Should have done a PayPal claim at that point.

  • Nice Bargain….comes just above $110 using SB deal posted by OP.
unfortunately those coupons won't work with cashback …..

    • +1

Coupons don't need to be listed for cashback to be valid. AliExpress state that the product must be affiliated and nothing more. Unfortunately this tablet isn't affiliated so no cashback.

      • yes you're right
Thanks for clearing up CLEAR ;)

  • Browsing Aliex for tablets and I came across this

    https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005008168598811.html

Seems a bit cheap for those specs. Straight up scam?

    • +2

Fake tablet. Has no brand name and very fake specs for a very cheap price.
